Somewhere in the world, there is a little boy named Dean F`N Ambrose who is smiling like a maniac right now. God bless him.

I gotta say, Dean deserved that, with the midcard hell and the stupid creative chit he's been delt with, he definitely deserves that belt.

I just realized that all 3 members of the Shield became WWE champion by beating each other.
-Rollins cashed in MITB to beat Roman Reigns and win the WWE Title for the 1st time. -Reigns beat Ambrose at Survivor Series to win the WWE Title for the 1st time. -Ambrose cashed in MITB on Rollins to win the WWE title for the 1st time.
It's Surreal and perfect rivalry lol

In the weeks leading up to this, they were calling this the "greatest Money In The Bank PPV"... and they were right.

Almost all of the time (maybe 90%) I don't care who wins or loses or who is the champion I just want to see whoever is in the ring give 100% effort and entertain me. From the spoiler I read on the Mattel board in one of the replies in the "MitB Dean Elite" thread this is the time I am very disappointed with who is the champion. I have tried and tried to like Ambrose, but can't. I love 90% of his promo/interviews, but once he gets into the ring he loses my interest as soon as he does either the his girl fight beatdowns on his mid-ropes slingshot clothesline. Those moves are both almost as pathetic as the Cobra. So because I saw that spoiler I will probably pass on MitB (was planning on watching it today). I am happy for those who wanted him as champion, but I personally feel it is a mistake giving the most prestigious title they have to a guy who has a weak movesets. Because for me with him as champion I will lose all interest in the title. I know people will tell me to check out Dean's matches prior to the WWE, but that doesn't matter to me because I am judging him on what he is doing in the WWE.

What happened to Gallows? Just waited to get booted out by Cass. Weird. Cass was out of position, much like how Charlotte was out of position to hit Nattie when she made her first attempt at the hot tag. Really ruined both moments. However, it ended up really making the Magic Killer look strong. Took out Aiden English, who was down for a good amount of time while they tried to set up the Big Cass/Gallows sequence and whatever name the New Day has for its move to take out Anderson. English was down a good 30 seconds. Then when they did it on Cena for AJ to get the pin, it made sense that he wouldn't kick out. Speaking of that, I was shocked that AJ won. Yes, he won by cheating, but that's the Club MO. I was just shocked that Cena sold the leg injury and that COLE of all people actually called a pretty damn good match. One of his lines was something to "a weak kick out by Cena" It was amazing how well Cole put over that match, which was a 5* Lastly, AJ really carried Reigns in his two matches. No offense to Rollins, who I love, but this match with Reigns plodded through. The only reason I cared was wondering if Dean was going to interfere. As I'm sure others have stated, all 3 Shield Members were WWE World Champions on one night. I like it. I'm just shocked that Rollins went over CLEANLY on Reigns, and Ambrose pinned Rollins. So both Rollins and Reigns can no longer say they was never defeated for the title. I am so happy Dean won.

Serious question: What do you consider to be a weak moveset? Is it the impact? Or what is in the aresnal? Like I think AJ Styles and Seth Rollin have a strong moveset, but in the sense that they have plenty of moves to use that are trademarks: AJ has the Pele Kick, Styles Clash, Calf Crusher, Phenomenal Forearm, Frog Splash, Moonsault DDT, Springboard 450, Kick/Chop combo, Flying Clothseline in the Corner, Kip up Frankensteiner, etc. And Rollins has the Phoenix Splash, Frog Splash, Buckle Bomb, Enziguri, Pedigree, Knee to the Face, Superplex Falcon Arrow (It's Falcon Arrow Cole, not Falcon's Arrow) and others. However, an argument could be made that Reigns, who has less trademark moves has a strong moveset because of the impact: Spear, Superman Punch, SchoolBoy Powerbomb, Drive by, and Buckle Clotheslines. So, which do you feel Ambrose is lacking? Impact? Variety? Both?

Man, what was up with Luke Gallows at the end of that tag match? He was so out of position.
First, they hit the double team move, and Anderson goes for the pin, Big E comes in to break up the pin and Gallows just stands there staring at him and doesn't even attempt to block.....then, Big E picks up Anderson, and instead of saving him, Gallows runs PAST them at Big Cass for some reason so he can fall over the top rope?
The end of the tag match was really botched......mostly because Gallows seemed to be either standing around not doing anything, or moving away from what in REAL LIFE he should be going towards.

Wrestling as we know is scripted, but I still like to get lost in it while the match is going on and to me that catfight beatdown he does and that slingshot clothesline are right there with the cobra as some of the most pathetic unrealistic moves ever. His beatdown looks very weak/unrealistic because more than half the time it you see it is nothing but air. And the slingshot clothesline is so slow to develop if it was real a blind man wouldn't even be surprised by it. I haven't seen a single time that he has hit it that it wouldn't have been seen and countered. Once he does those two moves I no longer find it entertaining. Other than those two moves I enjoy everything he does, but when he does those the match becomes to comical for me.

In the weeks leading up to this, they were calling this the "greatest Money In The Bank PPV"... and they were right. Were they? I'm gonna rewatch it today to focus more (since I had the game on too) but from what I saw, I don't think it was better than 2011. The tag opener was alright but disappointing. The next three matches felt like absolute filler and dragged. AJ/Cena was great though it had a poop finish. Money in the Bank was all kinds of awesome. Rusev/Titus was more filler. Main event was really good and the finish to the show was top notch.

This is why we can't have nice things. We get a great finish with Dean walking out as champion. The guy few wanted to win lost... clean. And we are still crapping all over it and predicting how quickly it will all end. Take a breather and enjoy the moment. I understand what you are saying but you (or anyone) can not expect people to enjoy something that they don't enjoy simply because it's what these other people want. Are Rollins fans just supposed to be happy because other people are happy? That's just silly. People need to feel "free" to react how they feel - within reason - without having to take s*** for those feelings. I'm not trying to crawl up your a** or anything. It's just that every pay-per-view thread is the same: Something happens. Some people get mad. People who are happy tell people that are mad to be happy. That's not how this needs to work. Ya know? Maybe I'm just over all this. I'm over being told "enjoy the moment" when I'm unhappy with a show. I was referring to the people who were already plotting how or when Ambrose will lose the title. The people who are predicting it will be a short reign two minutes after he won it. If you wanted Reigns or Rollins to leave as champ, then by all means complain till your face turns blue. Personally, I could give two s**ts if anyone enjoys the show.

Title switches work well when it means something and the crowd is behind the guy who is looking to win it. Now if you have multiple superstars who are "ready" in that sense, like Dean and Seth, shorter title reigns are fine because the crowd wants to see these guys with the belt so there is no need for one guy to hold it for 8 months at a time and repeat the same match 3 or 4 times in a row because thats when it becomes stale. Tonight is a good example of short reigns coming to an end for the better Take the IC title as a prime example of pointless title changes in recent years This. Look at '99. There were about 5 guys who deserved it all year so the constant title switches didn't bother me. This past fall was crap because Sheamus and HHH didn't need title runs. Big different. Last night reflects '99 more so than this past fall.

Battleground. HHH costs Rollins the belt. Reigns alligns with HHH. Major Rollins face turn. Major Reigns heel turn. Monday Night Raw. Reigns. Dun nuh dunuh nuh. Brock Lesnar. Summer Slam. Brock vs Reigns. HHH vs Rollins. Dean back to midcard hell. Why not keep Dean away from the Shield and Authority stuff and let him defend the title against guys like Owens and AJ. Keeps Dean's feuds fresh and the WWE can still push Romans and Rollins to their delight.

I really enjoyed the main event. Rollins going over Reigns made the show for me. I wasn't even bothered by Dean cashing in honestly. It was cool to see all 3 guys hold the title on the same night. I didn't think Rollins was going over at all and it was totally clean. I was confused by New Day retaining a bit. Feels like it's time to move on from them but I'm not complaining either. The Good Brothers and Enzo & Cass were both protected and I thought that was the right play if New Day was retaining. I thought the end was kind of a ing mess, but entertaining enough for what we were supposed to get out of it. Corbin vs Ziggler was a disaster. Not because the match was particularly bad but because nobody cared. I know there are 10 of you out there in internet land who think Corbin is really great, but I genuinely don't think it's going to work out for him. He came up before he was ready and now they're trying to force the crowd to care about him. My buddy and I briefly talked about who was turning heel after the Women's match. It kind of played out exactly how expected. I'm ok with it. Natty was a place holder feud for Charlotte anyway, and it's nice to move away from the Bret vs Ric crap. I love Becky though. I hope she wins the title. Crews vs Sheamus was better than the crowd was treating it imo but another situation similar to Ziggler vs Corbin where they just seemed disinterested. With the rollup finish they'll certainly keep feuding too. Meh. Loved everything about AJ vs Cena. I didn't mind the run-in at all either. I think if you can cheat to win, and you're technically a heel, why the hell not. This is what the BC does. They're a pack of wolves. I'm sure Cena will get his win back but last night was fun. I really wasn't that impressed with the actual MITB match. I don't know if it's because I knew Ambrose was winning or if it's because the story telling wasn't there for me, but I just wasn't ever into it. Some of the spots had my cringing, but I wasn't ever captivated by it. It was a means to an end and I was ok with that. I also think it's proof that they didn't want the MITB case factoring into the brand split. The US Title match happened. Solid show with a strong ending imo. I think Ambrose is losing the title at Battleground but that's neither here nor there. It's kind of a Zack Ryder moment where he got it done and that's important when your character is a loose cannon type and doesn't really need it for months on end to be credible. If Reigns is the Rock, Rollins is Triple H, then Ambrose is Foley. It's nice to get multiple guys in that World Title picture and it's nice to see them all win. Seems like there is a moderate chance we see a double turn of sorts from Reigns and Rollins now since they seem to be fully booking Rollins as a babyface at the moment.
