Apparently he was admitted to the hospital earlier today and he passed from a heart attack. Really suprising, and random. Dude had a 5-2 MMA record and gets a lot of flack for possibly the worst MMA fight ever, against DaDa 5000.
Regardless, RIP Kimbo.

I'm not afraid to admit I liked his backyard brawls. He wasn't great at MMA, but him actually going on the ultimate fighter and trying to get better made me gain some respect for him. RIP

This sucks. One of the few UFC fighters I cared about and he's gone.

R.I.P
My brother told me and I couldn't believe it - such a shame. He wasn't the best but he was noteworthy and a hell of a dude from what I've heard.

I loved watching his street fights on YouTube years ago. To go from that to becoming a professional MMA fighter is astounding. He came a long way. R.I.P.

He was a MMA legend! Not a legendary mixed martial artist. He has the most viewed fights of all time. Insane. He was my son's favorite. R.I.P. Kimbo.

Wow this came out of nowhere, RIP. It really did though. Very sudden. I just read that last week doctors said he was in need of a heart Transplant. Poor dude. Random but I bought his figure on ebay Saturday for 8 bucks mint and complete, now I went back on ebay right now out of curiosity, his figure's going over 30 now. . I don't plan on selling mine but I just think it sucks that once a person dies everyone tries to capitalize on it and make some cash out a person's passing.

He was supposed to be headlining the upcoming Bellator card in London.

He was supposed to be headlining the upcoming Bellator card in London. Did you hear about the possibility of his son being his replacement?

ill never forget the 1st time i found Kimbo on youtube.. epic lol... when he went MMA i didnt think hed do very well because street fighters/amatuer boxers almost never transcend well into MMA. But he was somewhat effective because hes a legit brawler who had legit knockout power. RIP buddy.
