Oh my gosh, I didn't recognize the name at first but I remembered her from her old YouTube videos where she sung while playing the keyboard. Rest in peace and well wishes to her family.

The killer was a 21 year old white male, who had 2 handguns and 1 hunting knife in his possession. He shot himself dead in a struggle with Christina's brother, Marcus.

Incredibly sad that someone who was just starting make her dreams come true ends up the victim of meaningless violence. I saw some of her season of the Voice and she was a pretty good singer. RIP

This death bothered me a lot yesterday. I liked her on FB a while back because I thought she was really beautiful (and she really was) and I didn't really give her a music a real listen to yet, but I thought that she definitely had a bright future ahead of her.
Then she gets killed.
And it is such a pointless death too. Why would any person walk up to someone and just shoot them?? It's disgusting on so many levels.
The last few days on this earth haven't been the best for mankind, that's for sure.

You'd think people would learn after the Dimebag shooting. There was no metal detectors at the show, and clearly a lack of security. It's a ing shame what happened. |

this world I am a not a bitter dude but what the , the current president or next one better handle this gun control in this country and also the venues of these events should have metal detectors. Didn't this crap happen to Dimebag back in 2008 I believe. 22 is way to young to die and the way it happen makes me ing sick in my stomach. RIP Christina Grimmie. P.S. sorry for all the f bombs |

Apparently two petitions were started online to get Nintendo to name a character after her in the new Zelda game, since she was a big fan of the series. Nintendo's response was “we are aware of the outpouring of support for her, as well as the petition, but we won’t be making any creative or content decisions in this time of mourning.”

I don't know if anything ever came out of it though. There is a monument thingy on an island in World of Warcraft. You can find easter eggs from some of his movies there. Just a tiny, random island with 0 reason for you to go there. Not Nintendo, but, ya know. |
