Before i start this i will say Ive been a firm believer in God and Jesus since a young kid and i have had no reason to stop believing and quite frankly never will...With that being said Everyone wants equality but why is it that People feel free to attack people who believe in God just because you dont agree with them? O its silly to believe in God? Well guess what i dont agree with a lot of people but guess what you would never know because im going to treat you with respect so please do the same...Seriously come on people everyone just looks for a chance to attack each other....Cant people realize to get a long with each other...I don't care if your gay, straight, black, white, Muslim, Christian, Atheist or if your not even sure what you believe in...Im going to treat you like you deserve to be treated...and the people need realize that if everyone just worked a little bit harder to get a long this world would be a whole lot of a better place....so just because you dont believe in what other people believe in Just be a decent human being and life will be easier So. Much. Truth.

I always thought Heaven is what you want it to be when you die.
As for Hell, I believe that is on earth. For all the crap that happens here to people which is bad, it has to be Hell.
I do believe in ghosts since I have encountered them before in my life. So I know there is something after we die. I am just not sure if we stay on earth as ghosts, or if we do go to Heaven. But like I said, if there is a Heaven, it's what you want it to be.

It's a pretty good album. I honestly prefer the Black Sabbath records with Ozzy though. That was a great album,I prefer Dio myself. I went to see Heaven And Hell in 2008, they were awesome!

No matter what, heaven, hell, Detroit, I just find it hard to accept that one second you're here and the next second you're gone forever. Life goes on no matter what and all you can hope for is that you live on in someone's memory and that it's a good memory. I only feel sadness for my daughter when I die because I'll be leaving here on this horrible world for her to fend for herself. She will be so devastated and all I can do is make every second I'm with her better then the second before.

Thats not what I said. There are many people that take the Bible as guidance to being a better person. Not necessarily heaven or hell but to just be in a "better place" within themselves. Countless number of people go through hard times and turn to the Bible and/or religion to help them through it. I see absolutely no problem with that and its asinine to ridicule people for it. We'll laugh, make fun of and ridicule a man for going to church, reading the Bible & praying but we dont know all those things help him through the day because his wife just left him for another man and he's not going to come home to his kids anymore. Yet the alternative for that man could be heavy drinking, drug use or even suicide and then we say "well nobody was there to help him"....someone, something was. Whether you believe or not is up to you but dont ridicule people for their beliefs if it betters them. Back when gay marriage was being legalized the saying was "if you dont want gay marriage then dont get one"...simple put, if you dont believe in religion then dont go to church. Nobody is forcing you. And yes there are some people that would ask you if you believe or go to church and if you say no or no thank you or whatnot, they will usually just leave you alone. Its people that are like "Fuk you dude, I dont want your magical sky daddy" that get the most push back from Christians trying to spread their faith because you acted like a complete tool. Which leads me to one last point. If you're athiest then by all means be athiest. I dont care but stop and think about something for a moment. As an athiest, why do you spend so much time trying to disprove something that you dont even believe in? I mean if I went on and on and on and on about how 6 legged purple elephants dont exist because I dont believe in them, Id be locked up in an asylum. I don't know where some of this is coming from, as I've not knocked anyone here for their beliefs. You, and everyone else is entitled to believe what you want to believe. I think you're wrong, you think I'm wrong. That's fine. As long as its contained to the individual. As an athiest, I wouldn't even consider trying to disprove something like a higher power. Because it cannot be done. However your 6 legged purple elephant has basically as much true evidence supporting its existence as an actual god does. But, you can't act as if this isn't an important issue when there are members of the christian faith who have influence over the education of children, and are purposely withholding completely true facts (IE Evolution) from them because it contradicts their faith. There are an astounding number of people who believe that the universe is only 6,000 years old. Many of those people are teaching this to children in schools, while omitting the truth. Hell, I was one of those children. That's when I take issue with it. As an aside, you twisted my words in the previous comment. I was never knocking you for bashing someone's faith. I think you might be losing the context of what Im sayin in the text, which is very easy to do on a computer screen. I didnt mean "you" as a direct you but as an in general you, no one in specific. I personally am more of an Agnostic-Christian...which I know sounds like it doesnt make sense but here's how I explain it. I, nor anyone else walking the earth, can prove or disprove any religion or religious being. However *if* a "religious being" were to be proven and or someone wanted to follow a religious faith, I personally find (which is my opinion) that Christianity is the most plausible. As for the athiest part, I had no idea you were one...nor with all due respect, do I care that you are one. Do what you want to do. My comment/statement was more of a question as to why so many athiests try to disprove something they dont believe in. For example, I personally do not believe in aliens. Therefore the only time I even bother discussing anything alien related is for movies. I dont go through social media and find posts of space ship sightings or whatever and bash and ridicule those people for it. That seems like a waste of time. However and I realize its not everyone but athiests in social media are seemingly getting just as bad as vegans. They feel they have to bring up what they are an every moment. Like I said its not everyone but it seems more increasingly. Just like the bible thumping Christians. Not every Christian is like that and to me it seems those types are actually fading away more to the moderate Christian.

My idea of Heaven is playing "naked wrestling" with my woman.
My idea of Hell is being locked in a room with "The Boss's Daughter " playing on an endless loop.

The world you live in is not Hell. What makes you think a newborn baby who is happy, healthy, and growing is in hell? Hell is where they send all non Christians, or so the bible tells us. So as a Christian this can not be hell because there are Hindus and Muslims and many other non Christians all around us.

My beliefs are 80% Jehovah´s Witnesses and 20% my own thoughts.
They taught me from the Bible that there is no hell. It doesn´t exist in scripture. If anyone here has had studies with them before you know exactly what I mean.

I do not want to say much about my religious beliefs, but did want to say that Jehova's Witness ideas on defeating death are very cool. I will always appreciate the JW people for how their ideas on several things helped me after my grandmother passed.

I don't discuss my personal politics and religion on the internet... And I never will. But I do want to address 2 points. I've never understood why people (both atheists and religious individuals alike) believe that evolution and faith are mutually exclusive of each other. Let's take Christianity vs Evolution for example. Why can't one believe that evolution is a tool created by God to get us where we are now? This school of thought is called Theistic Evolution. It's a school of thought that sees religious principles as compatible with scientific understandings. Again, I'm not by any means saying that this is what I do or don't believe. I just wanted to address this because I've see many people on this forum, other forums, and of course in my own life separate the two. I've always felt that it's important to have a decent understanding of ALL sides of an argument to have a productive discussion. Plenty of Christians DO believe this. The problem lies with people who are adamant that what is in the bible is concrete, and no amount of facts will ever disprove that. That's why it's such a struggle to get evolution taught in schools. My stance is simple: Believe what you want to believe, but don't let it effect anyone else. As soon as you're imposing your cooky beliefs on other people, you're causing damage.

I believe I God, heaven and hell. But there is no way to know for sure. Why is it when things die we instantly loose a small amount of weight is it our soul? Technically we never die, our energy just looses consciousness. Every last one of us is eternal, our energy was created at the dawn of time, energy can't be created nor destroyed according to the law of conservation of energy. So our "life force" will still be going on, it maybe divided but it still exist in one form shape or another. I question a lot based on science, as I am a science teacher. God created the earth in seven days, cool but what is a day to a God ...we could just be in day three. I believe in evolution, we are not 4000 years old or whatever . Also the key thing with the Bible, unless someone discovers an original version , never altered or translated is that it has been written, edited and rewritten by the winners of wars.........don't believe me, then explain why all those Middle East men have very European names. I believe the concepts in the Bible are real but they have been greatly altered to fit the ones in power (when no one could read or write) own agenda.
That said, again I do believe in God, heaven hell the devil ect. But I also believe in science ...and both have things that cannot be explained by the other.
Sorry going on a spiel, but I could debate this stuff all day long, as I love stuff like this.

I hate the fact that the idea of heaven seems so ridiculous to me. Because it would be great. It's just not realistic or believable to me, at least no more so than Santa is. Mick Foley disagrees

Dying is my biggest in fear ever so I don't know where I'll end up when it happens and I'm not in a hurry to find out mine too My thoughts exactly. I imagine death to be a good dream if you've made good memories and a bad dream if you've made bad memories.

I'll be quite honest I was born a Catholic but as I grew older I started to question things and identify as non-religious. Within the last year or so I've just wondered more about the spiritual side and about the purpose of life. What I got from this is to live the way you want to and just try and live life to the fullest because the next day isn't guaranteed. There are many people who don't get to live their dreams or even reach a certain age in life, so to be alive is a gift imo. I've heard stories of unexplainable things from really close people etc, so I do believe we have more questions than answers and in fact we may not really know what's really out there. I thought of this concept the other day and thought hey we were all born in the same planet so when we die we must all go to the same place. I think it's best to respect everyone's beliefs and if being religious makes one happy then so be it. I'm planning to one day travel around the world and learn more about the spiritual side from all kinds of cultures to gather my own conclusions.

It's a pretty good album. I honestly prefer the Black Sabbath records with Ozzy though. Ozzy, of course, is almost always better, but Dio had a pretty good run with Sabbath. I can say that I honestly enjoyed that album better than Never Say Die and Technical Ectasy.

I don't think there's a heaven or a hell as I think religion is one big scam. I don't think there's a God or any higher power and I think people sometimes use religion as a crutch or cling to it out of fear.
Is it possible there's a heaven and a hell? Sure, but I merely think that possibility is highly unlikely and very illogical.

I don't believe that earth is hell, I mean I'm not rich I don't live in an amazing house or have a nice car (I don't even drive) but life is pretty good there's nothing that I can complain about without it being a "first world problem" hell is supposed to be pain and suffering and generally something you want to avoid. I love life, so surely something is wrong or I'm some kinda demon if this ie hell...
Death doesn't bother me at all, it's one of life's great adventures no one knows what's on the other side, assuming there is something, and by the time you find out you can't tell anyone.
