I have this old finishig moves Kurt angle figure with no singlet and the American flag on the trunks rubbed off so it looks as though he's just wearing red trunks. I also put white knee pads on it a while ago. I was wondering could this work as a Zack Sabre Jr figure? The articulation is great and is also perfect for his type of offence.

Kurt ANgle Wrestled Zak Sabre Jr last night in the best match ever, so I'll say yes, it's a sign!
those finishing-move figure moulds look like ZSJ's actual physique aswell, and can do be posed to dol his intricate technical holds. What head are you using for it?

What head are you using for it? I was thinking of keeping it the same as it looks generic and a lot of mattel figures wont match the skin tone. (I'm not into painting parts). Do you have any suggestions or ideas? Any help would be really appreciated. I really want this to look great |

If you can get some clay/mod podge and create a quiff-fringe that would probably be enough to make it looks more like ZSJ (
Then paint it so it matches the hair colour )
and then pencil / watered down black paint around the jaw to create some stuble
and make the eyebrows a bit darker as he has thick brows too

I also found an old royal rumble heritage mattel cody rhodes (pink trunks) but the skin tone doesn't exactly match and the head might be a bit small. Should I go for the cody head, pencil a goatee and darken the eyebrows on the kurt angle sculpt or find a new head with a better likeness? |

I think a cody head would probably look better. but You can see what the Kurt angle with brows/beard looks like, and if you're satisfied; good. If not, you can try the cody one. here are some other Zak Sabre customs that might be helpful ... ![]()     That first head looks like a cody rhodes head and it looks great so I'll try it. The skin tone looks a little darker and small but hopefully it will not look too noticeable. Thanks for the help |
