EDIT: It's now shadowboxed. I have order a LED strip to run along the bottom of it to illuminate it.  Debated on the classic board or here. Mods feel free to move if need be. I started attending OVW show in 2002, and went damn near every week up until about 2007. I still go to the occasional show. Over the past few days I was able to work out a deal for this belt and could not be happier. A huge thanks to Randy at TRB for brokering the deal. I had contacted him about a week ago with hopes of getting replica made. He got the permission to use to logos to recreate the belt. So a day or two later he ask me if I wanted to make an offer on the actual belt. Long story short, he worked out the details and I met up with Danny Davis(also huge thanks to him great guy to deal with) today and bought the belt. A little history on the belt. It was made in 1997 by Reggie, and used up until very early 2012. This particular belt has been held by some huge names in wrestling. This belt has been held by John Cena, C.M. Punk, Batista, Rip Rogers, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Ryback, Rico, Rob Conway, Paul Burchill, Evan Bourne, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, and the list goes on and on. There's quite a bet a wear on it, plates have been attached, and has gone through a few different repaintings of the lettering over the years. But is in pretty damn good shape for being ring used for nearly 15 years. Enough talking here's the belt.              |

I'm sure there are more expensive and less expensive things out there what's the big deal? Everything has a price what's the purpose of hiding what you paid? anyway congrats on the purchase |

And I feel like if they say what they paid, people will flip and act stupid. Look what gets said when someone says what they paid for figures or ring worn attires.
Just easier to avoid the hateful comments.

considering that that was the first wwe title (by connection) that batista or john cena had, it's value should go up in time without a doubt. what's it all made of? Fun fact they were an NWA territory before they were developmental for WWE, and later TNA developmental. So by association you can sort of claim it's the only NWA, WWE, TNA belt out there. Leather strap, the plates are nickel plated zinc I believe. |
