I was hoping undertaker would be getting purple gloves and boots myself ... Oh well, I'm still happy I finally got my tug from Mattel i can't really imagine how the shirt will work? Im guessing its the same exact figure as Shockmaster. so it would either have to have a cloth or plastic shirt. Neither of which is ideal since his top was always tucked in. They could just paint it on the bare skin.....but that many horizontal red lines seems like something Mattel wouldn't paint It seems like it must cost money to change parts (guessing by re releases we have seen in the past) so I'm gonna guess your right. I hope it's not a cloth shirt as I really don't want to worry about staining but it would look a lot better than a plastic shirt. I'm hoping were wrong and they put earthquakes torso on tuggers tights. I'm also hoping he's just shorter than quake or the same height but not taller |

I could still find that undertaker 2 years ago when I started collecting. Unless theres a yellow IC title with warrior, ill just be getting Kamala and Magnum.

The Elite Legends line is not a relaunch of the Legends line. Undertaker, Michaels, Ultimate Warrior and Kamala are reissues in new packaging (Elite Flashback). Jericho is a new deco and Magnum is new, sorta.. Will Warrior have the correct belt? |

I'm guessing if there were any variations that bill would have mentioned something about it. I only wish the re releases were of harder to find figures like bam bam bigelow, e12 Kane etc... It would be nice if in the future , the re releases were repaints instead or had some variation to appeal to collectors who already own the figure.
I would buy the new undertaker if the purples were more purple and the warrior if the belt was fixed and maybe a new head for variation

This just feels like the wrong foot to get the set off on. I think Legends collectors are already a small fraction of Mattel's overall market for wrestling figures and there are a lot of folks who already own these figures, whether it's from buying them at retail the first time or on the secondary market.
It is a great day for newer collectors who like Legends, but I suspect this line is going to do well all that well at retail in most areas.

This was a nice surprise. Ordered Magnum and Tugboat today. Will most certainly grab Warrior and Macho Man at retail. Passing on the entire basic set since I already have Emma's first figure and the elite version of Joe. No need for anything else in that set.

We finally get an entire line-up of just Elite Legends again and we get...1 new figure?
And Koko has been replaced by Sin Cara?
Those are some big time letdowns. On the bright side, I'll be saving some serious money.

Their picture choices leave my imagination to run wild, and I hope Magnum is just the Series 7 figure never released. Oh I am sure that will be the Magnum we get, but can it be a best of if it was an originally cancelled figure? |

Oh I am sure that will be the Magnum we get, but can it be a best of if it was an originally cancelled figure? im fairly certain it won't be exact though. as that figure had a cloth vest, huge Hacksaw legs and Akeem boots. cloth was cheaper back then. And they didn't have the Windham boots mold back then either. |

If it was asked sorry I'm not reading through 11 pages of comments. Is the legends line going to be new figures? Bc i was on ringside and the hbk taker kamala and warrior were all figures we've gotten in previous lines.. E44 is ok. I mean I like tugboat but if there's a way to put a hard singlet mold of typhoon's singlet and the tugboat gear is removable that would make up for making the SDCC exclusive freaking shock master. Macho maybe I might get if I get the matching DM warrior. Braun and koko was the only ones I was considering but then they got rid of koko and put sin Cara bc he's a draw lol... big e Kofi and woods figs I'll get as a trio eventually. But elite 44 subpar compared to elite 42 & 43

That's why I said 'essentially' not quite a best of, but almost. 4 out of 6 have been confirmed by Bill & the pictures they posted on the Pre-Order page to be direct re-releases. I'll take it! Just don't start reissuing figures that were RSC exclusives. That seems like a great way to take out some of the incentive or justification for paying a premium on otherwise "normal" Elites the first time around, since you can just catch them again in a year or two.
