MattelDesignTeam The legends line fails (or at least was canceled) due in part to odd outfit choices early on, over saturation and a underwhelming response from consumers at retail. You find a GREAT resolution and start adding in legends in the elite line as flashbacks. Things are getting better. A legends line is coming back? THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER AND BETTER... Then you re-release figures we already purchased and (just a hunch  ) most of us will not buy again. Did you hear that "snap!"... Get the gun, tell the kids to turn the tv on real loud. Time to take the horsey out behind the shed. Seriously if this is an effort to relaunch a legends line, why this way? Why stack the deck so that your dealt the worst cards possible. Yes a few will say "I'm glad they're re releasing so and so"... that's a few and I'm confident I'm in the majority who would of bought these guys all in different outfits, but will not shell out $100 on the same figures i already bought. Total bull$hit they cancelled Koko B Ware ... That was one of my top wants ... Thanks ... My guess is it's going to be in HOF 4 instead. That's a possibility as I can see him replacing George Steel, but Bill said he was disappointed because he wanted Koko too. To me that implies that he can't make him, which would make sense since Koko joined the lawsuit against WWE. |

Man how many people complain that there is not enough hbks or takers, yes it's a one off set that introduces figures from the past to new collectors. I'm thrilled magnum is finally becoming a reality and as soon as I get my check cashed and deposited he will be ordered.
Sucks about koko but maybe he is in Elite 45 or down the road. Getting 2 of 3 different personas this summer is cool that being tugboat and shock master maybe typhoon will be in a throwback battle pack.
Way cool to add Samoa Joe for basic collectors as I felt his elite though good just didn't look accurate. You can't please everyone but atleast your adding in surprises here and there.
Unlike jakks Mattel is not shooting themselves in the foot by producing anyone and everyone leaving us with some very weak line ups just look back to series 26-28
Now to I hope while at sea for 5 years my collection expands and adds great like Larry zybisko or Nick Bockwinkel. To attitude greats like ken shamrock or Val Venis or d'lo brown. To even NXT guys like rhyno, Brian KENDRICK yes but that's the fun of collecting is sometimes the patience for when Goldberg is announced or we someone obscure like savio Vega. I like hbk and taker but I also like to add more guys to my very large now stored collection. Great job Mattel way to make magnum a reality.
Now if we could just get a wcw basic lex luger or basic APA lol.

i wonder if there is more budget $$$ to work with for the new figs in the Elite Legends line...if 4 of the 6 are going to just be rereleases. granted, it still costs money to re-release a figure. But their not spending money on new molds or anything for the re-releases. Well I think they should at least make changes in the paint deco. They've got to paint them anyway, why not make them different from their original releases? Add a touch of red to HBK's hearts Fix Takers purple, perhaps drop the mask and give us a cloth coat Change Kamalas face paint from the legends figure Obviously magnum never got released so he won't need a change But I just want them to vary, instead of being the exact same figure released again down to a T I mean, at least put some chest hair on Shawn |

Tugboat, Macho and Magnum only for me it seems. Crazy to think Mattel could have had me and many others on the hook for 9 new purchases in a month only to drop the ball with canceling Koko & and doing a bunch of re-releases.

WWE pulled the plug on Koko, not Mattel. Stop blaming Mattel. Actually blame Koko, he's the one that decided to join a frivolous lawsuit against WWE.

They are finally releasing magnum TA if you guys dont know magnum TA was supposed to be released in a older legends line but was cancelled but its finally being released now this is probably what it might look like because this was supposed to be what it was gonna look like  |

The more I think about those 4 likely being no different than the original releases and it's pissing me off.
And this is coming from a guy who typically has no issues with rereleases.
If they don't throw some color in HBK's hearts and release it exactly like elite 19, with no chest hair and subpar headscan then I might talk myself out of buying anything from these two elites series.
Not even Taker. I mean, I got one moc and one loose. I got the SummerSlam heritage one, too. I don't necessarily need another one just because of the box.
I wish they'd just tell us if the 4 of those figures VARY ANY from their prior release.

They are pumping out such a ridiculous amount of figures both basic and Elite that I'm sure noone gives a f*** if you personally are going to buy a third version of the same Undertaker figure. I mean you already bought it twice. This is a Greatest Hits wave, with Magnum T.A. as a bonus. It is what it is.

So u would think a whole year ago, WWE would terminate his legends contract and he'd be removed from any line-ups. yet a couple months ago he was on the leaked line-up lists. And even went up for pre-order today. wth thats like if a year from now, a Stardust pre-order goes up |
