This was before Victory Road 2007 back in July. This is a rare thing & to the best of my knowledge is the first time TNA has made the whole show one match.

Usually iMPACT! main events happen like this:
- 4 minutes of action - 3 minute commerical break - 1 more minute of action before the end of the match (interference, run-ins, etc.) - Brawl to end show - The stupid 30 second recap

TNA rarely has good matches on Impact but going into Victory Road they did have a bunch of 3 way matches for the titles that were really good TV matches. I think the Dudleys defended the titles against Styles/Daniels & LAX, Lethal defended the X-Division title against Joe & Dutt and the World Title match you watched with Angle, Christian & Rhino.
Like mentioned, good Impact matches are really rare though.

Generally I find Impact is more about building up storylines with angles,run-in's & interviews with usually a couple of short squash matches. Then on PPV they have less time constraints & put on better matches.

It's rare a match on TNA is good hence the whopping 1.0 rating

To give TNA it's due, I think WWE has just as much run ins as they do. Seriously, every RAW main event has some one running in and attacking John Cena, or Cena running in and attacking someone.

It's rare a match on TNA is good hence the whopping 1.0 rating I guess you didn't watch last night's Impact then because that main event was really good. I see it as when TNA gets two hours, they will start having better matches every Impact instead of just once in a while.
