Didnt Del Rio win RR and MitB too? The problem with a lot of these guys is they dont have a cool or distinguishable look. Someone has to be really invested in their character to even care. Miz I appreciate more because he had to work up to it. Sheamus and Del Rio were handed monster runs, and then eventually stripped of their gimmicks. Well what's really in a look? Roman has it but seemingly doesn't have much else. Sheamus is decent on the mic and in the ring with an intimidating look. I dont see anything in Sheamus. I dont think he should ever be babyface. His red hair dye, pale skin, and "intimidation" gives me nothing to get behind. I dont care how "stiff" he is. Sheamus is literally someone who could disappear and I wouldnt care. They have Finn and Becky now for Irish talents and they are much more aesthetically pleasing.... |

At times he's booked right and at times he isn't. He does make a good heel. Aesthetics have little to do with it for me. |

The problem with only one world champ is you dilute the brand split For instance Dean is champ, Reigns gets drafted to smackdown, Dean to raw...reigns wants his title rematch, so does dean appear on smackdown and their ppv, or Reigns on the raw one? Say Ambrose retains. So then does the #1 contender come from raw? Or smackdown? What if Reigns wins, si then the title goes to him, and he takes it to smackdown. ..does that mean you have 4 weeks of raw with no champ? If any of you listen to notsam podcasts he made some really good points, i really like his breakdown of how to handle the champions |

2 world titles worked great when they booked the titles competently (2002-2007/minus Rey Mysterios' reign). They both were booked strongly. It wasn't until around 2008 when CM Punk got the world title that they began to book it as the lesser of the world titles.
I'm fine with two world champs IF they stay exclusive to there brands (no appearances what so ever on the other show) and they are both booked equally. If they treat the SD champ as a clear lesser than it will be crap.

If they keep the rosters separate it works it is when they start doing the "supershow" crap where one title essentially just becomes the IC title and the IC and us titles become the European belts that it sucks. There should be no combining of the rosters at all.
Not even Wrestlemania, bring back starcade and have that be the Smackdown Wrestlemania. Heck, cam it wwe presents WCW Smackdown. Make it an entire different brand. It has worked for NXT, yes we know it is still wwe but it isn't pushed down your throat that it is wwe.
Two titles work better too, when the commentators call a much instead of talking about the last hour or cena, lesnar or reigns.

So would this mean that Dean was the last WWE World Heavyweight champion or was Seth the last one and it became the WWE title when Dean won it?

I know i am the minority here, but I am -soooo- happy that the big gold belt might be coming back. I have always felt like it was a more legitimate looking belt, AND this opens so many doors for younger guys to get big pushes too!

If there is going to be another belt it will be a brand new design. |

If they have to change the design of the WWE Championship, I hope it keeps that really small border on the bottom on the Main Plate that says "World Heavyweight Champion" except obviously now saying "Champion".
I hated the huge "Champion" banner on the Scratch logo version of the championship. It was ugly and made the logo off centred.

I want the Big Gold to come back because it is a beautiful masterpiece of art.
Title prestige is completely irrelevant now days anyway. It doesnt matter if you have 1, 2 or 0 World Champions. You could be the biggest guy in the company and not even sniff the title recently (hello Cena)

Same if the contender is from SmackDown! the champ only appears on SmackDown! Either revive Main Event or Superstars, whoever is the number two contender from RAW faces the number two contender from SmackDown! to determine the overall new number one contender. And while the World Champ is facing a RAW guy, the Intercontinental Title becomes the focus of SmackDown! while the United States Title would take main focus on RAW when the champ is on the blue brand. |
