"This week in Vancouver, representitives from all of the districts in British Columbia, met and talked about decreasing wages. If some teachers don't get what they are asking for, they are potentially going on strike... Most teachers don't want to go on strike, but they did have a work stoppage in some districts in 2001." -CKNW 980 _____________________________________________________________ If the teachers do go on strike, then I don't have to worry about going to school, YAY! What are your guys' thoughts about this?

Well,i always enjoy a strike cause we get time off, but my dad has been laid off alot lately and trust me,i wouldn't wish it on anybody. It just makes everything so much harder. Plus when you get back to school, you'll have extra work left over to do. So,really you have to give to get.

This happens every couple of years here in Newfoundland. Nothing usually transpires though.
