I keep my figs loose on display and dust builds up. The jackets end up badly covered and become somewhat sticky. I tried washing it with water and it just made it worse, any suggestions?

Had a Cade up on a shelf when I was cleaning once and lucky me he fell off and went head first into a glass of juice.
Wiped him off but his jacket stayed yucky so I took the jacket off and let it set in some Dawn soapy water for a few hours and the juice came off. Any non abrasive dish soap should do the trick. Just go for hot water and a bigger container if you've got a lot of them and have to do them in bulk.

I saved many a figure with just original blue dawn on a damp cloth and then rinse under warm water and then air dry on cool with a hair dryer .
