If AJ Styles and Gallows & Anderson want to expand The Club, it'd work well with Primo & Epico joining but that's the only way I could see them getting over any time soon. And more importantly, why can't they feud and have some decent matches with Lucha Dragons??

While they're at it, they need to pull the plug on Dana Brooke too. Don't know why but she annoys the hell out of me.

Alexa Bliss deserves that spot way more than she does. When Emma got injured they should have just sent her back to NXT. Her voice is annoying as hell. |

I usually have a lot of patience for a repackaged gimmick. But these guys have had 3 gimmicks in 3 years and they all sucked. It's not going anywhere, and the way teams such as Enzo and Cass and New Day have excelled in shorter periods of time pretty much stamps their death warrant for me.
Simply put, nobody cares. Chop em, or give it a shot with a wildly off-script Carlito as their mouthpiece. Perhaps make them form a stable against the usual gimmicked stereotypes within WWE. The Puerto-Rican-Vaudevillian-Uso-Ascension is something I could buy.

What I don't get is that Vignettes are costly to make and should be used to hype up new guys who are going to get pushed.
Look at Enzo and Cass and the Vaudevillans. They were more deserving of vignettes to hype their debut but instead they decide to give them to 2 jobbers who will go nowhere.
Also if Carlito returns he needs to be kept far away from Epico and Primo because they will drag him down.

I had this weird thought...
Maybe they are being intentionally given an awful gimmick, so that (possibly) a returning Carlito could "save" them from it. Have them trash the gimmick on live TV, then reclaim their identities and just be a 3-man group: The Colons. Hell, even if Carlito didn't come, just have them quit shilling Puerto Rico in the middle of a vignette, throw their tropical drinks at the cameraman, and stomp their flowers...then they go to the ring and brutalize another tag team.
But...then I realized that only a fan doing mental fantasy booking in their spare time would put that much thought into an angle these days...none of the writers for WWE would think that far ahead for anyone on the roster not named Cena or Roman.
Not meant to bash Cena or Roman (though I don't really care for the latter at all)...just bemoaning the lack of forethought on the part of the writers. I feel that I put more effort and thought into possible storylines during my morning showers than the paid writers do...

I can definitely see Carlito returning for the brand split which may explain why the shining stars have had promos again.

I never really saw what the audience was supposed to feel towards them. We're supposed to hate them because they talk about having nice weather? Were we supposed to cheer them for having nice weather? They have no clear angle at all.
