Please. They put soooo much unnecessary effort into the initial vignettes and then they had ONE...ONE...match on Raw and it was more quiet than any given library. For some reason they went back to vignettes and these are just obviously shot backstage with a green screen. Are they supposed to be anti-American? I get that they are Puerto Rican, but like...that's it? I didn't see a topic on them on the first page so I thought I'd make this. I am sure this isn't the first topic on them and it won't be the last. Their green screen vignettes are just filler. I don't work for the WWE nor have any knowledge of the direction for these guys, but it isn't that impossible to guess that WWE doesn't even know what they're doing with them. Do Primo and Epico have something over on the company here? They had their initial run then were repackaged as the Matadores and now are back to Primo and Epico, but with a generic name "The Shining Stars." I don't get their purpose of being on the show at all.

I think its funny that they sucked so bad on their debut, they're back to vignettes. I would either bring them down to NXT or release them. Those two could benefit being down on NXT since American Alpha are close to coming up.

I think, if they are bringing back Carlito, that if they put the Shining Stars back with him, we could see a really interesting heel, mid card stable develop. If Carlito is not returning, sending them to NXT would definitely benefit them a lot.

Two talented guys who nobody cares about. I thought they were on to something when they were teamed up with Rosa (only thing she's ever done worth a damn) till they were split up for some odd reason. Thought masks would work. Didn't. So I honestly don't have any idea what to do with them. Maybe Carlito can help? But Carlito has enough trouble keeping his head in the game, so I dunno.

I thought they were at their best when they were tag champs. They had a subtle buzz and we're putting on great matches. They were even shining a bit as Los Matadores. Their matches were solid and there were times when it looked like they were getting over.
Now they have nothing though. Those gimmicks are the worst thing ever with the over enthusiastic deliveries and now green screens that are crappy by green screen standards.
They only ever gotten over when they were allowed to work. Send them to NXT and just let them work. Kind of like what Tyson Kidd did.

They need to be working matches with other solid teams.
These guys will likely never be a top team again, as the division is so deep now. But they're terrific in ring workers and can be doing a lot to help the division as a whole.
The vignettes need to stop though. They were never all that good and seemed to be promoting Puerto Rico more than the team. And now they're old and stale on top of that.

Fired! I hate how the Vaudvillains are now jobbers and these jackasses are still being featured in vignettes. They need Carlito, who has enough charisma for all three. Without Carlito they are just taking up space since nobody gives a flying about generic Puerto Rican Heel Tag Team. |

Nah, the division needs jobbers. If we end up with two tag divisions again then one of the shows is going to need them.
I get it. Of all the guys who haven't received effort, why are these two guys getting all these vignettes. I'll take WWE trying with them over not trying though. I wish WWE had more vignettes honestly.

I love Primo and Epico so I'm glad they are on TV but I wish they were actually wrestling.
