So what's everybody's general opinion on basics? I'm mostly an elite collector, but I get bored, and buy basics, then regret it afterwards. I like the fact they mostly get debut figures first, but try to convince myself, just be patient. So what's everybody habits?

Haha I'm in the same boat, I get bored and buy basics and regret it, I'm starting an nxt collection so it'll look good with nxt elites,

Basics are for plebs.
Lol nah but they're kinda boring to me. I see new ones like Corbin and all I see is that I want one with his fancy coat.

I only buy an occasional basic for a custom or fix up for a elite.. That's about it.

I started out with basic series 1 and battle pack series 1, after buying an elite 1 Undertaker it all changed. I rarely buy basics unless it's a wrestler that I know won't get an Elite or its part of a BAF.

More superstars are released in this form therefore it makes up most of my collection aside from NXT Elites and Flashbacks.

I only get basics of women, and figs that aren't getting an Elite. J&J Security, for example.

Excellent for Divas.
Also good for larger characters with limited movement.
Good for fans of a specific wrestler I.E. Sting or John Cena, which is everyone.
Good for debuts.
Still better than Jakks.

I recently decided to primarily collect basics, with a few exceptions of course. In my opinion, elite figures are rarely worth the price. I feel less guilty on the money I'm spending, and I have a full roster.

I like 'em a lot  . They come out more often, cover more attires and characters than elites, and although they aren't as fun to wrestle with, they're good display pieces. |

I hate basics. Such crappy leg movement. But hitman punk, macho man punk, countless divas, summerslam heritage hhh, the new sting, the new heyman, several t shirt series figures...
I think elites often get crappy attire choices. So i have a fair amount of basics now.

I'm someone who collects every character possible so I have to go the basic route quite often. Sometimes I have to rebuy that character in Elite form but I'm fine with that. Sometimes a basic can be better than the elites, like Sid Justice. It's much better than the Psycho Sid Elite.

Only basics I buy are of flashbacks and women. Any current roster wrestler I wait for an Elite.

I buy all the NXT guys from 2014 to now. I also like some that we havnt got in elite that are better attires than elites so far.

EG M$M, Jericho, and HBK
Walmart/Kmart Tshirt series
Bray and Ambrose for the different shirts // RVD for colorful singlets
Women
All Sting and Macho Man

Basics bodies look better because they don't have that ab crunch cut into them. If you play and pose and stuff then they aren't as good, but imo to look at, basics are better
