Interesting, and before none sense talk of VKM buying it,no way as his WWE is not worth even $2billion He did try 3 years ago, as did the former owner for 2.2 billion earlier this year. Also Joe Rogan has left. It was actually back in 2000-01. Shane was trying to convince Vince to buy the UFC before Zuffa did but Vince wasnt interested and ended up buying WCW and ECW instead.

(they don't exactly have a great record for ventures other than pro-wrestling, lol). Plus, Zuffa invested a ton of their own money (and time) to make the UFC successful... Vince might not have been prepared to do this.

UFC without Joe Rogan doing commentary isn't UFC to me.

UFC without Joe Rogan doing commentary isn't UFC to me. Ken Flo and Brian Stann have been taking over really slowly so I don't mind. Both more educated than Goldberg. Rogan's okay I guess but his personality annoys me.

I just don't understand how UFC sold for the same price that Star Wars sold for. Seems like either Star Wars sold too cheap or someone overpaid for UFC.

I didn't even think about that. I was also surprised that UFC was worth more than WWE. I just figured WWE's longevity, merchandise, constant shows (vs once every few weeks for UFC), etc. put them over the top. It's amazing that UFC was on the brink of death just a little over a decade ago. Credit to the Fertitta brothers for turning it around. They made a killing off this.

Vannata held Ferguson's leg, then freaking head-kicked him(!). Ferguson did really well to get through that - and then get the choke in the next round. Vannata might be one to watch... gotta keep those hands up though.

You're right about Lando being one to watch. For him to come in two weeks notice and put on a stellar performance like that was very impressive. Dude's got a hell of a chin on him. Really does need to keep those hands up though.

Nice tidy profit there for Zuffa - they made UFC a juggernaut...I can't fathom what comes next...
