I'm sure this was discussed but was Apollo Crews supposed to win that Battle Royal? It looked like he was supposed to hang on and Corbin accidentally pulled him out as they fell. I don't know, DY didn't look like he knew what to do at first. He laughed like "get the
outta here?!" That's how it came off to me. I'm not against him getting the title shot, primarily because I don't think he'll win and Miz needs a legit IC program for SummerSlam with someone not Darren Young, but I really do think it looked like a Kaitlyn situation.
Love what they're doing with Rusev and Ryder. I'm in on that feud. I would love to see Ryder get a real run with the US Title when the brands split.
I'm just going to come right out and say Kalisto sucks and I'm over watching the guy. He's not Rey, and he needs to slow down. I thought the finish was awesome though. I like Breeze and Fandango and I hope they continue to grow as a team.
Rollins was solid gold last night and the back and fourth he had with Ambrose was off the charts. Just good stuff. Good intensity from Ambrose. He has a habit of getting too cartoony imo, but he pulled back as soon as he started to cross that line last night. Roman shouldn't be in this feud at all. Ambrose and Rollins have enough chemistry between the two of them to carry the feud and match. I honestly don't know that any two guys on the roster have as much chemistry as those two. It's definitely the best long standing feud WWE has available to them and they remind you of it every time those two are in the ring together.
Owens/Sami/Cesaro was all done right. Loved the end with Sami jumping out of nowhere and the swing. Those 3 have great history together and it all comes so natural when they're all in there together. Sami vs KO should be off the charts.
I was totally disgusted by WWE copying the Final Deletion. Seriously, that's grade school sh*t. It was a little more Texas Chainsaw Massacre in nature than the Hardy's more hokey The Room type of bit but it was obviously a total copy because WWE knew about the buzz.
Really loved what they did with playing up John Cena not being there. Sure, it's an old trick but it's still a good one, and a realistic lie to tell. At least it's 3-on-3 and not just Cena making all 3 look like a joke. Nice promo work from all prior to the match too.
Sasha vs Charlotte is bad. It could get worse.
The end was terrible. That was worse than the 4th of July Main Event imo. Seriously, the McMahon's were out there for 20 minutes and didn't say anything useful. Hopefully there is someone backstage with enough balls to tell them how sh*tty that all came off.
