As not only the advancement of camera equipment has allowed for higher resolution output, but for cameras in the arenas to scour it on cranes, I've seen the abandonment of those ringside photography crews. I think that they were a nice touch, just as the ring having less give way back when did, or when JR and King were way up the stage, having a heightened view and great amount of distance away from the action, the inclusion of V.I.P stands when a heel wants distance away from the face, rap battles, more titantron interruptions to make heels look like even greater cowards but I think that some need to be brought back again and so on. They've kept some gimmicks going, like the roulette wheel, not so much a GM's office, but a TV hanging on the wall with some posters and talk shows but I think that some need to be brought back again.

I'd like to see some old school managers brought back. The sort of manager Heenan was. It was made as if he managed their mone, their schedule, travel, and so on.
Heyman is good. And for the longest time, Lana wasn't Rusevs lover but was his social ambassador... Which meant she was in charge of his career and direction too.

Seeing you guys are discussing what you would like the WwE to bring back now I am moving this off the classics board.

Photographers were moved for safety reasons, which is understandable. I'd love it if they had more managers. It's like they're timid about certain things. I just don't understand how a company can move away from what made them successful.
I'd love it if they changed their entire production philosophy all together and bring it into the 21st century. They paint the audiences in either Red or Blue and IMO it looks horrible. It's overwhelming and distracting. For the larger venues it looks great, but not every week. Everything is forced and nothing looks spontaneous. They need a design re haul bad.

They seemed like they were heading back in the managers direction in 2012-2014.
They had
PTP w/Abraham Washington Epico/Primo w/Rosa Mendes & El Torito Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Cesaro, Ryback, Axel w/Paul Heyman Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero & AJ Lee Real Americans w/Zeb Coulter Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez Cesaro w/Aksana
The problem I notice with this list and probably why managers aren't used much at the moment is either:
You are a guy with a big reputation and have gotten or are getting too old for regular appearances (Heyman, Vickie & Coulter)
or
You fizzle out almost immediately after debuting with someone (Rosa, Aksana, Washington)
I'd say the outlier on this list is Ricardo Rodriguez. I get he wanted to wrestle, not manage but him and Del Rio were perfect together.

I'd love to see a manager with multiple clients again. I remember having an old video and there was a skit with Jimmy Hart arranging the day for his clients and it was actually pretty good.

Yes, as stated, photographers were moved from ringside because of safety reasons. Then, when they moved to HD, Vince thought seeing even his own shooters was too distracting, so he only kept 2 of his own at ringside & moved them to the near corners, so they'd be off screen more times than not.

I liked the PWI Japanese photographers crowding ringside for certain events especially when it concerned a big name. Lord Alfred Hayes would make a point to tell the viewers about all the international press gathered to watch the debut/title match/whatever of so and so. It made it feel legit.
