I'd probably make certain laws a lot stronger.

-Hire Better Security in arenas -Bring WWE Figyas to canada faster  -Legalize Marijuana(i don't smoke it) -Change our Flag -Make Hockey our National sport instead of Lacrosse -Legalize Hockey Sticks above the waist |

The Fiberals were suppost to remove the GST but thats not happening anytime soon

Oddly enough I just had a speech due yesterday where I was elected the Governor General of Canada, and I had to say what I would fix about Canada. I wanted Canada to be more active in the world today.

Remove certain taxes. 15% is WAAAAAAAY too much. I agree. Sales taxes were originally a temporary way to help cover costs in World War I (or was it 2?) but I mean, who's going to take away those billions of dollars away from the government? I know they won't! |

This is a very abstract thing that I would change, because the method is so elusive, but I would change Canadian's pride about their country. No... I would increase their pride for their country. We have such a great place to live, with so many incredible things to be proud of, and we are not nearly as joyful about them. Those who leave the country for extended of periods of time perhaps get a glimpse at how much respect the word 'Canada' recieves from those around the world.
With someone as incredible as Terry Fox sharing our flag, how could we not be so much more proud?
