How are they gonna do this? Will it begin on raw or will the draft solely happen on smackdown, will the commissioners be announced on smackdown or raw the day before, I figured the commissioner announcement promo is gonna go 20/30 mins the draft itself is gonna be a lengthy process the current wwe roster is quite stacked plus the romoured nxt call ups just seems like a hell of a lot to squeeze into 2 hours plus (hopefully) some wrestling matches...

I imagine they will announce the GM's or whatever at the start, then draft 5-6 guys each so they can announce some Smackdown vs RAW matches for the night.

I believe it's gonna be like the first one, and they'll draft like 20 picks on SmackDown and have the rest of the picks be on WWE.com

The GM's will be announced I believe at the top of Raw on Monday because the Main Event is Ambrose vs. Rollins. Also draft picks will be drafted Tuesday on Smackdown and simultaneously on a WWE Network Special titled "WWE Draft Center Live". Pre-Show starts at 7, the show starts as a second screen experience the same time as Smackdown Live. The post show is a recap at 10pm right after Draft Center Live. Regarding picks in the draft, I believe everyone is eligible, even NXT talent. I expect Finn Balor, Nia Jax, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, American Alpha, Tye Dillinger, Carmella, Peyton Royce and Austin Aries all to be drafted.

GMs on Raw. Everything else is anyone's guess. I'm not sure they even know. This whole thing is a mess.

The fact that the WWE didn't make the draft a WWE Network special still boggles my mind.
It would have been perfectly suited for the WWE Network. They could have made it like the HOF in a way. Fans could buy tickets to be in attendance for it, the wrestlers sitting down in the front. And then when they get drafted, they go up and say a little speech or something.
Instead, its gonna be on a 2 hour episode of Smackdown.... great.
And another thing, I wonder how long before Smackdown becomes 3 hours to compete with Raw??

I imagine they'll draft people throughout the show on smackdown, and announce the GM's on Raw

-- The "3hr RAW" deal with USA, expires in December. Either RAW returns to 2hrs, or SD! eventually becomes 3hrs.
