From Samoa Joe's Myspace Blog:
Sound the Fog Horn
"Former X-Division champion Samoa Joe has been telling people that he would rather accept an entry level WWE contract (believed to be $50,000 per year), rather than resigning with TNA. Joe is not happy in TNA, and doesn't want to stay with the company when his current contract expires."
This statement is untrue because of one tell all reason. "he would rather accept an entry level WWE contract (believed to be $50,000 per year), rather than resigning with TNA."
Buuuuuuuuuullsh*t, Are you crazy? I really really like money! You see, the goal as a career pro wrestler is to work hard, make money, and hopefully have a life that is somewhat of a comfortable experience in your latter years. Do many of us succeed? Well, no but a Kid can dream can't he?
The only reason why I choose to openly refute this rumor is because in all honesty it makes me look SO UNCOOL around the office! I mean when you make up cool rumors that make me seem all super rebellious and anti authority I just ride with it, but when you make up rumors that I am going to work just as hard for less money, well that just make me feel that you think I would be dumb enough to do something like that. In closing,
My name is Samoa Joe and You can watch me & TNA Wrestling on SPIKE TV..

That says nothing about him not leaving TNA. That's saying he wont go to WWE obviously. That doesnt say crapabout NOAH and ROH.

He'll make just as much in ROH, if not more, than in TNA. Not to mention his hotels and travel are paid for, unlike in TNA.

If that's even real all that says is that Samoa Joe isn't gonna go to WWE. Says nothing about ROH and NOAH which Joe has talked about plenty of times.

He is just saying he won't take less money, doesn't say he won't leave.

Wow, just gotes to show it's about money and not the fans with him. You selfish piece of shit. EVERYTHING in life is about money. Would you rather he stay in the lower indy feds where he started out because that's where his "real fans" are, or would you rather see him go where he can make the most money so he can have a nice life when he's old?

If Joe left he would actually be making more money.

This doesn't mean he's staying in TNA definitely. It just means he wouldn't leave TNA for a WWE developmental contract.

If I were a wrestler I would want to leave a legacy not money. Why not watch a office worker if you want to see someone have a nice life when he's old? Wrestlers come and go and not many fans will say, 'man I wish this guy has a nice life when he's old. And as for the selfish part, he doesn't want to have joe wrestling in his backgarden, he's saying that it's not all for the fans anymore.

That says nothing about him not leaving TNA. That's saying he wont go to WWE obviously. It doesn't even say that. It says that he would take a contract anywhere for minimum pay. In short, whether it be WWE, RoH, NOAH or Jimmy's Backyard Wrestling, money talks and bullcrapwalks. As it should be. As it should be.
