I know a lot of people don't like these, but I hope they're successful enough where we do get elites and BPs. If these are successful, Mattel is successful. And that's good for everyone. I do agree if series like these do sell, Mattel will be even more successful. But my two worries are if they don't sell will the regular basic and elite lines have even more cost cutting problems. All you hear from people at Mattel is well we make rubber shirts because they are cheaper and this deco had to be done because of the cost of making the figure. I 100% understand Mattel can't just go by making regular Basic, Elites and Battle Pack, so I hope lines like these sell and maybe in future regular Elite, Basic and BattlePacks maybe it help with the budget thing.

I don't think that reads as they're making Zombie elites. More like the Zombie line is being added in addition to basic, elite, and battle pack.

I'll buy the Bray to get the Jacket and that's it. I also read the add as meaning that these will be in addition to the basics, elites and battlepacks we already get, not that there will be zombie versions of each.

They should make a zombie Dolph ziggler to signify the death of his career being entertaining

i just see this as more money that should go back into the elite line and basics.. more money lost.. I feel the same about my money. Why should I buy these (even as an impulse buy) when I can put that money towards regular WWE figures

I'll wait until the basic zombies hit retail and see how they sell before I make any judgment. I'm not a fan personally (I feel like zombies were a tired cliche about 5 years ago), but to me these are more appealing than any of the other gimmicky sub-lines they've made so far. Seems like every year they try something new (spring-action gimmicks, etc.) and they just clog store shelves, so it'd be nice if they finally stumbled onto something viable.

It's a lose-lose for me. If they're successful, they're going to make more. If they're not successful, Mattel loses money and more than likely cuts costs on the figures we actually want.

I'd really only be interested in seeing the accessories.

I didn't like the generic one's they put out as basics, but I could see myself digging a Halloween Elite figure with more articulation/detail/color in this vein.
I'm not even sure who I'd want, but maybe New Day if we're keeping it all current. Kalisto? Kevin Owens/Zayn? FINN BALOR AS AN ACTUAL DEMON would be dope.

i just see this as more money that should go back into the elite line and basics Explain how this would work. Every time I see a post like this I think of you. So's to respond to the wish for more money in the budget, here's a little insight into budgets that is used universally in business. Those in upper management work with those in charge of different branches of a company. In this example, higher ups will speak to top Barbie executives and WWE executives (just to name a couple) and lay out how much money each figure line will get. This determines (and this is the most important point of all) HOW MUCH A FIGURE LINE WILL COST AT RETAIL. So, if Mattel said, "let's kill all the sub-lines that aren't making as much as the basic, elite and battle packs waves and dump more money into them," they would then have to charge more to recoup what extra went into them in the first place. Is it this simple? Of course not. There's a ton more involved, but this is it in a nut shell. The job of any company is to try new things that will bring more money to the bottom line, and they capitalize on current trends and fads to do so. Some things are a shot in the dark, sometimes they don't work. I, for one, hope this becomes the next top basic line. Not because it appeals to me, but because more money for the company ensures they continue making product. And I think we all want that.

I don't see anything that suggests more than what was just released. the original post just says what just came out fits scale wise with the basics and elites. I want a lot of the ones from the set so far though

To me, that line just reads like they're a new line along side the others rather than saying they're getting elite and battlepack versions.
