the posts isnt saying that the zombies will be in elite/basic/battle packs. its says these are added to the largest line of figures which includes basics elites and battle packs.
its all in how you read it but it definitely doesnt mean what the majority of you seem to be reading it as.

It's a lose-lose for me. If they're successful, they're going to make more. If they're not successful, Mattel loses money and more than likely cuts costs on the figures we actually want. Yeah probably.

i just see this as more money that should go back into the elite line and basics.. more money lost.. No money is lost, they still do basics every month and Elites every other month. Basics and Elites have a separate budget so this line won't harm those two lines.

I don't know man, sounds like elites to me Ghouls will add to the variety of superstars IN the basic, battle pack and elite lines. Could be completely off base.. But I wouldn't put it past Mattel to get an elite set in there using old parts lol

In just a few days we'll know the answer if there will be elite and battle pack versions of the Zombies. Hoping for the rest of the Wyatt Family to be in the line

I know a lot of people are saying they don't like the idea of these. But I'm a huge zombie fanatic. Night of the Living Dead is my favorite movie ever! That zombie Dean is so awesome! I need it haha.
I mean I'm hoping Mattel doesn't go too crazy with it. I didn't like the Camo Carnage or STOMP series from when I was a kid. Like if Mattel starts making odd ball figures then I'll lose interest. But the zombie idea is good for a few series. I'd like to see it go to at least a third series. My idea is that they can make a zombie version at least half the roster. Hopefully no repeats. Off the top of my head id say Baron Corbin, Zack Ryder, Sasha Banks, Eva Marie (like her Total Divas photoshoot), Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman and Finn Balor.

Have any of these actually even sold at all in basic form ? I bought the whole set. They're really great figures to play with or keep MOC because the packaging is really nice. I will also say based off my set and friends who have opened the figures that QC issues are not at all present on any of these figures (that I've seen). It seems like they really took a lot of time to be sure there weren't any serious paint/design issues.
