Wow this is utterly ridiculous. These guys are looking for money. Half of them didn't take their biggest bumps in the wwe. Wonder how they all got baited into this lawsuit. All of them knew full well what they were do it and what they were getting into. I hate this.

Luckily Jakks already made most the people on that list that I wanted a figure of. Slick and Shane Douglas are the only two that kind of sucks to see. Slick was just at the HOF too. How many bumps did he even take (if any)? I don't recall him ever being injured for the few years that he was there. Seems like most of these guys are doing more harm than good with these lawsuits, especially with the network opening up new revenue opportunities for these guys if WWE wanted to involve them. Slick too a nasty bump at a house show in 1986 I wanna say. He was managing Sheik and Volkoff vs. Bulldogs for the Tag Titles, and Matilda went after Slick, and Slick jumped up on the top turnbuckle and fell over to the floor, landing on this arm and breaking it instantly. |

A class action lawsuit against WWE was filed by a number of former professional wrestlers today, including lead plaintiff Joseph "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis, in the Federal Court in New Haven, CT alleging that the company hid their knowledge of medical conditions, such as Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, from the wrestlers because the then WWF "placed corporate gain over its wrestlers’ health, safety and financial security, choosing to leave the plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies." |

Bummer. I wanted figures of a lot of those guys.
WWE seems to have a great program now, but they didnt back then and if that came at the cost of these guys' good health/mind and they are now hurting, then it's their right to some recompense. If a court finds that WWE should share some of the wealth with the guys who helped build it then ya seems fair to me.

If they pulled Koko from E44 because he was part of a lawsuit against wwe then yes absolutley it will affect figures. Also I find it kinda of wrong that people like Sabu and the estate of Axl Rotten are suing the WWE for head injuries when you take into account all the crap they did in ECW and the indies! How long was Axl Rotten in WWE for ? WWE owns ECW So if you want to sue ECW, you sue WWE |

Ad for how it'll affect future releases let's see what happens with Kamala. If he gets pulled like the Elite Series 1 figure then we will know it will. If he still shows up then we know it won't.

And seeing RSC gets their first shipment sent overnight air and they haven't gotten it yet I think if the WWE wanted Kamala pulled I am pretty sure he would be. |

Your probably right but if Kamala does show up in stores it doesn't necessarily mean those guys aren't blacklisted.... , but if he does get pulled then yeah that's fair.
