On the contrary, i am taking this news in a positive way. At least it sort of confirms which wrestlers may not be made into figures anytime soon ... hence our effort into building their customs will not go to waste.
Hmmm ... lets see. From that list of 50 names, some have already been made into Mattel figures.
Setting aside a few which i have already made into customs (Ahmed, Sabu, Henry Godwin, Warlord) ...
This leaves me with a few more for consideration to build into custom figures. Namely ...
Adam Bomb
Berzerker
Killer Bees
Beverly Brothers
Shane/Dean Douglas
Barbarian
I am just blabbing out my thoughts. I share your pain too in knowing that some figures are just not meant to be.

I hate crazy old wrestlers, except Shieky Baby. I suppose this explains why we're getting so much of Uncle Fred, lol.

Sucks to see Warlord and Barbarian on that list. And I see that many never saw Slick in action as a manager, he took tons of bumps! Do your research! We are doing research by asking questions on here. There are people on this board who weren't alive, an adult or remember much about him during his peak. Seems pointless to search through hours of videos on the Web in order to see if he bumped or not in a match when it takes 2 seconds to ask on here. I'm 34 and the only thing I remember about Slick is "turn out the lights, the party's over." |

Bryan Clark, Shane Douglas and The Barbarian are the only ones on that list I would like to see Mattel make. But yeh this will squash their chances unfortunately. It's a shame Mattel doesn't make deals directly with talent like Jakks did, since that allowed Jakks to make loads of people who weren't on the best terms with WWE. But with Mattel leaving it up to WWE to make their deals, that comes with a free side of WWE politics unfortunately.

I'm joining those of you mourning the dream of possibly ever getting a Powers of Pain. I'm having flashbacks of being a kid and getting an LJN Warlord in short trunks and never seeing a Barbarian to go with him. That kind of trauma never leaves you.

Why are they suing? Link isn't working for me. A class action lawsuit against WWE was filed by a number of former professional wrestlers today, including lead plaintiff Joseph "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis, in the Federal Court in New Haven, CT alleging that the company hid their knowledge of medical conditions, such as Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, from the wrestlers because the then WWF "placed corporate gain over its wrestlers’ health, safety and financial security, choosing to leave the plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies." I know where that courthouse is. Should I go wait outside for autographs? I think eventually though, if this case is dismissed fast enough, this won't effect some of the bigger names getting figures down the line. |

If they pulled Koko from E44 because he was part of a lawsuit against wwe then yes absolutley it will affect figures. Also I find it kinda of wrong that people like Sabu and the estate of Axl Rotten are suing the WWE for head injuries when you take into account all the crap they did in ECW and the indies! How long was Axl Rotten in WWE for ? yeah its reduculous that a few of those guys are sueing www considering all the crap they did in ecw. |

The Hebner's part is frivolous. Dave had a double knee replacement if I am not mistaken and when you have a procedure like that you can never work as a referee again
