Hey guys, For those of you who do remember me, and those who don't! I posted this in another thread, but I thought I might as well not stretch the screen too much, and I would just make a new thread to show you guys anyways. My brother has been riding a unicycle for about 2 years, and at the start of this summer taught me how to ride on his. After an afternoon, I had picked it up, and bought one a few weeks after that. We've been riding a lot this summer, and about two weeks ago we had a great photo session all over downtown London. This past weekend, our step-nephew came out with us and shot video of the entire afternoon. So a video is in the works now. The picture below is from our session 2 or 3 weeks ago, from in front of the JLC, home of the London Knights! We eventually got kicked off by a JLC staff member who told us there was no skateboarding allowed on the property haha. So from my days as a surfing high school student and frequent member of WF, to a unicycling/surfing university student who stops by every once and a while, this is my picture....... And as a side note, and my main note, it is really great to stop in and check out WF: Canada. I don't really see much more of the board, but when I do have a moment, this is the first place I stop. Always friendly people. _Arch

I thought I would add a picture of my brother, who is a very talented rider. For those of you who have been to the JLC, you will really appreciate this shot!

You can spend $150 on one, or $2,000. It all depends on what kind of a ride you want and what you intend to do with it. How serious you are about it etc. Mine was about $400 from Darren Bedford who sells out of Toronto. He is the president of the Toronto Unicycle Club and is renowned through North America for being one of the best sellers. Check out www.unicycle.com , there are tonnes of unicycles there in a wide range of prices. And YES! it totally is a challenging sport. That is probably what I like best about it. No matter how much you do, you are always challenged. Such a great sport, with such a bad circus image. Not at all what anybody thinks it is. _Arch

At least the old days of it. I check in every once and a while to see other people's graphics. I just don't have the time to make any of my own lately! Good to "see" you Mal.

Right on. Saw you around the graphics board a short while back, but not for too long.
I don't think I'd have the patience for unicycling. It's something I wouldn't mind trying, but like anything new and challenging I try, I get frustrated with myself if I'm not a natural.
