My Mattel collection got started with the cloth singlet Andre the Giant. I saw it at a Walmart and now I'm 50+ figures deep. No regrets haha

I've already given away my loose e29 Andre and I'm trying to get rid of my moc one too

For me it was the Razor Ramon Defining Moments. I had to get it once I saw it.

The legends Kamala figure was the first Mattel figure I bought, as I'd already gotten most of the legends I wanted when Jakks had their Classic Superstars run. But when I saw Mattel's detail and accesories, I was sold! He was my only Mattel figure until this last month, when Farooq and Bradshaw came out on the Elite line at our local Wal Mart. Again, not just nice figures, but some killer accessories to go with them!

Strolling through a Wal-Mart, E22 Rock caught my eye. The belt, in particular. I loved, and still love, the detail on those damn belts. At first, I was only going to get guys that came with a belt. This was obviously later in the line, so I had no idea SES Punk even existed. Then I saw it. Accessories, scan, perfect. It was then I knew I was hooked. Fast forward to now, I still don't have Punk (E16 is a suitable replacement...for now), but I have all the belts except the RAW and SD tag belts, and the Million Dollar Championship.

Kamala hooked me from the start. I marveled at it, on my desk. lol It looked just like a little him. I loved my ljns as a kid but these are the g.i.joe of wrestlers. So Kamala led to sheik, led to rude, led to funk, led to e-bay...and the rest is history.

Can't pinpoint a certain figure. Been collecting the LJN days and have jumped from line to line. To be honest there's no end in sight for me.

E22 Rock was the first wrestling figure I had brought in 6 years if that counts.

I had seen the Mattels for a good year or so but thought they were too skinny because I was so used to Jakks steroid bucks, then one day I saw Legend Rock and Legends Bulldog for 5 dollars each at Biglots.... been collecting ever since.

I was aware of wrestling figures, but I had no clue how awesome they had become. The first figure I saw was Mattel's Defining Moment's Macho Man Randy Savage. It's thee Holy Grail in my opinion. Has anyone ever made this reference to your name? If it's pronounced that way, of course . . . Kelijah/"Kaw-Liga" (the wooden Indian) by Hank Williams & then later, Charley Pride, as I'll include below: The way he holds that note from approximately 2:26-2:36 while singing "your name" is incredible, by the way. If you watch nothing else from the video, that is worthwhile for viewing from said musical legend! Also, when I saw this thread I immediately thought of you, I believe, and figured you'd post something like what you did. I think you're the one who once posted a video showing off some of your collection—in a similar thread to this one, IIRC—where you mentioned how you saw that DM WM7 Macho King (I still gotta get it some day myself, if going for a decent price) and you exclaimed that you "knew [you] had to have it." Unless I'm mistaken & getting you mixed up with someone else, but that would be extremely peculiar to basically foresee your post coming. However, you proclaiming that as the "Holy Grail"—much like myself, despite not even owning it—pretty much sealed the deal on my so-called ESP. Haha, but anywhoooo...
