I just feel they look like barbies when they don't have that p.o.a ... Why not collect basics then? Not trying to be rude
Hayabusa, I was thinking the same thing,mi was going to attempt to gently paint it on and see how it goes.... I would prefer macho on the mesh shirt over the star design for sure

I'm indifferent to the ab crunch. So long as they keep turning out legends, I'm in for the long haul.

Most basic torsos look strange to me anymore. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so used to the ab crunch or not, but they remind me of R3s in a way, and I was never a fan of that line.
I could do without the ab crunch, but my biggest issue with basics is how oddly their legs are positioned. They've got the same stance as the old thunder thighs RA figures, but their legs are usually rather slim. It makes them all look like they're running around with their legs clenched together. Some don't look that bad (basic Balor comes to mind), most do.

Whats this chatter over elites losing ab-crunch??? Telephone game in action. I made a comment about the Create a Superstar mold being the future since new figures are getting those arms and that we better hope the ab crunch is not on the chopping block. Mattel is not doing away with it. Yet. |

I'm glad they ditched that 4 pack. I think a Stunning Steve or another nwo guy should of been in there with zbysko hall,nash. It could of been a nwo/dangerous alliance 4 pack. Put lwo Eddie in the TNF waves.

The Then, Now & Forever counterparts, while ultimately meaningless, could make for some fun/interesting pairings. Skinner - Luke Harper Waylon Mercy - Bray Wyatt Rick Martel - Tyler Breeze Rick Rude - Fandango? Dolph Ziggler Alundra Blayze - Charlotte Velvet McIntyre - Becky Lynch and many others... The question is, what is the most predominate feature or aspect are you using to compare the two Superstars; Looks? Style? Attitude? Also, while we have seen an incredible amount of absolutely great figures between SDCC & Super Toy Con, are we really not going to see another Surfer Sting this year? |

But over the years I've grown to appreciate the extra articulation and now when I see any figs without one it screams happy meal toy to me. Just like when the Marvel Universe line reduced their articulation and removed the ab crunch, they just felt cheaper. |
