I'll bite. Now we have Macho, any chance they can squeeze Gorgeous George (manager of Macho) in?  I doubt it, but would be cool. Excited for the a couple of reveals today. Hope we see Tatanka. Balor looks awesome. I'm guessing this time nxt year we will be excited for his Summerslam attire. His first 'major' PPV attire should be something - and I get the feeling Bill will be watching to see if he can get it made. The 'Then, Now, Forever' elites have really provided an opportunity to expand the line - between this, HOF, the elite line and other exclusives it's a great time to be a collector. Earthquake/typhoon look great - All these tag teams - makes me sad we are unlikely to get Steiners. And I really hope before its all said and done we can get Powers of Pain. I think we are due another LOD as well, maybe from Summerslam 92, with the Gold through it. It's going to be a great year through the end of the year... |

I forgot to mention in my day 1 report
The next HOF 4-pack was to be Larry Z, Eddie, and Hall/Nash, the them was gonna be wcw. That is completely scrapped and will not see the light of day. With that being said he's really hoping to get Larry Z out some how since it's a great fig.
I asked about the new Scott hall headscan on the cancelled HOF fig, he said he can probably find a place for the head to be used. I told him I don't care if basic or elite, PLEASE get that head released. We shall see..
Also regarding the HOF - the lineup for series 3 has been altered 3-4 times. The advertised Steele & Jake HOF elites are on "Pause", meaning they are likely going to still come out eventually. He wanted to get some new stuff in the line, rather than all Repaints. Plus chances of King & Sting outselling Jake & Steele are very high
We talked about DM allocated budget and price point compared to a standard elite. From what I gathered... The DM packaging isn't cheap! And his budget per figure includes the packaging cost (designs, cardboard, etc..). In regards to how many of one DM is manufactured in comparison to one elite figure, the answe was "about the same".
In regards to recent "big" signees he now has the rights to do figures for.. He wouldn't tell me a thing! Haha I simply asked if there were any recent big signees he can now make a figure for, and he said yes, but gave no clues as to who

The way things currently work, realistically we've got no chance of getting her. But in the SDCC Q&A, Bill did say if Shockmaster does well (and it's looking like he did) they're going to look into other ways of releasing more niche characters. Personally I thought this was a massive highlight of the SDCC Q&A as there are literally hundreds of WCW/NWO era talents I would love to have figures of - including many managers, announcers, referees, women, and "wrestlecrap" characters - but I fully admit many of my wants are pretty niche and therefore unlikely to be made via the current system. If Mattel can find a way to release more niche characters in a way that makes sense financially though, it will be awesome to dig down deeper into rosters of past eras. |

If I ask of you one thing in my life it's this @shockwayne , Could you please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please ask if we are getting a long haired denim ABA Taker or 97/98 elite Taker with a scan different to the SS Heritage basic? I'll try haha he's really hush hush on confirming any specific attire or when it's coming out. Usually it's something like "yes we sell a lot of undertakers, there will be more coming out". Which gives you the idea that it's a possibility but does not confirm anything lol. He said if he told us everything he was working on all the time, he'd lose his job |

I woke up to this this morning and was completely surpised. Team Madness Macho Man is so awesome. I never thought we would see that figure. Love the idea of a Natural Disasters Earthquake!! This stuff just keeps coming. SDCC was awesome and now we have even more reveals. Mattel is really kicking a@@ lately.

Ooooh , good questions You know it's funny, I legit hated valentine as a kid And not Dibiase hate, not "oh he is a good heel" kind of hate, but like x PAC heat kind of hate.... I hated watching his matches, he had a match every Saturday morning it seemed against a jobber and wasted 5 minutes of my life. He was talked about like he was tough and he probably was but he was so boring when all I wanted to watch was undertaker, savage, warrior etc But I really need a good valentine in my collection now, he was such a mainstay of the wwf and I love the guy at this point. Bring on the g.v baby |
