This new Sting head + HOF 4 Sting torso + DM jacket = my last Crow Sting ever. But not Mattel's last Crow, I'll bet! |

Hey that looks pretty good. Beard is painted a bit sloppy here, the contours of the beard aren't quite right. But yeh I'm happy with this, this head looks a lot like him. Finally. If you're happy, I'm happy brother. Scan turned out great |

if that sets coming out in the fall.....that Macho's going to be pretty disappointing, because there probably isn't time to fix/add/change anything.
its got so much potential, thats the sad part. That head/glasses/hat combo is like perfect too.

Goldust is awesome Macho is f*cking sweet! AJ Styles is cool Bliss is great! Ascension is awesome and WILL include shoulder pads Kane is pretty cool, selling point for me is the case for his mask! Pillman is sweet Rock I'm undecided about Have we found out which set each of those new elites shown today will be in besides Goldust? |

as evidenced by the basic Sami Zayns, they seem to understand that he doesn't wear kneepads over his tights. Yet they keep putting them on his elites??? so not only are they spending the extra 2cents per figure or whatever it would cost them, to add kneepads....they went thru the trouble of tampo-ing his tights design onto 1 of the knee pads too?  ? wth so if u remove his kneepads to make the figure accurate...is a part of his tights design just going to be missing? |

That head/glasses/hat combo is like perfect too. While I love the figure I agree it could use a few tweaks. But honestly it's pretty rare to see Mattel make changes based on fan feedback anyway. As soon as we see a figure for the first time, 99% of the time it's already too late to make changes. They never really leave a window to change anything based on fan feedback. Which seems silly to me, even the best designers will make mistakes or dubious choices, and the hardcore fans will always point them out and suggest improvements, for free. Why not plan for a 1 or 2 week window AFTER showing the first protos to the fans to make a few small tweaks? But for whatever reason they never do. Still it's a great figure, and with Macho's popularity they could easily do another Team Madness era attire down the line since he had quite a few. |
