Had Mattel started out with those elbows I wouldn't mind them. I like the fact you don't see the peg. BUT... I have 49 guys out of 50 with the old style. So that one with stick out like a sore thumb. May have to add elbow pads and hope the OCD in me can forget.

Anyone think a Mattel belt will fit in Kane's display box thing for his mask? Doubt it, the straps won't be flexible enough to curl around that tight

Ugh. They're really gonna paint every AJ figure's face flesh tone, aren't they? So disappointing.

That Goldust sculpt is pretty dead on IMO. Love that double chin.

Please tell me AJ's face isn't painted Yes, it is. But Bill said yesterday that it won't be on the final product. Just saw this. I really hope this turns out to be true.

Basic AJ Styles 1st factory sample will be shown. It has a painted flesh face which will be changed on final product. That was the big news really.

That Goldust sculpt is pretty dead on IMO. Love that double chin. To me the elite needs a bit more eyeliner or more under his eye to match the mag

While I know that debut Goldust face paint is technically accurate, he really played with his makeup and attire for several weeks before finally settling on his look that we saw at Royal Rumble '96 (more black around eyes, with exaggerated eyebrows). I am happy for the Goldust but wish the face paint design was more Rumble '96. While I've always asked for debut Gokdust, I guess technically I wanted early Goldust. Also, any chance we can see Goldie without the robe? Regardless of my personal preference, nice job MattelDesignTeam. Despite my previous post, Goldust looks fan-friggin-tactic and it seems like the majority on this board are incredibly excited and pleased with the figure. This is what happens when you give the figure the proper treatment and don't skip out on any crucial components or accessories, budget be damned, there's always a way to make it work (DM, move to a different line, other Elites in lineup receive less, etc.) MattelDesignTeam great job!

I love Mattel's work and the new debuts this weekend, but I gotta say, the quality of the last two years of women's figures has been brought way down by every single girl that wears tall boots getting AJ Lee's tall Chuck Taylor's.
