So I was just wondering recently how you guys came across this forum. The reason being is because I'm not a figure collector, I have two replica belts but that's as far as my collecting goes right now.
I got introduced to the site in 2013 by a friend of mine who is also a huge wrestling fan. Originally I was skeptical about joining a wrestling forum as I didn't think it was really my thing, but three years on and I'm still enjoying having a place to go and talk wrestling with people. It makes the shows much more enjoyable to watch when I'm on here at the same time in the weekly RAW threads.
But yeah, the original question was how did you come across this place and what made you stick around?

I got back into watching wrestling in early 2001 and started buying figures around then too. Every week I would see someone in the audience holding a wrestlingfigures.com sign up, so I naturally checked it out. I only visited the main front page which would have the latest news and protos so I knew what was coming out. Then I noticed the forum part and started looking at figure news, as well as downloading the custom t-shirts and props that were available in the customs board (can you believe that people were happy to print out a paper shirt for figures to wear back then?)
I only browsed the forum this way for about a year before signing up. I did so because I saw the Micro art in the now extinct Graphic non-design board and wanted to post the ones that I had created. Made some good friends in there that I still have to this day. We just continue to make our art elsewhere.
But I stick around because I like to read about WWE happenings, figure news, the UK figure thread for recent findings and there are a lot of cool people on here.

There was a site before this and Ringside Collectables... the name is escaping me at that moment... but when that went under they were directing everyone here.

I was looking to buy a Walmart Exclusive RA John Cena that came in a US Championship belt pack with Orlando Jordan and came across the site through a search engine

I was searching for WWE autograph sessions and came upon this board. I don't collect figures. I just decided to sign up cause I'm a wrestling fan, I guess.

I don't exactly remember. All I know is that I've been hooked since then. Been here at least 8 years on and off. Had one different profile before I made this one. I really like a lot of the people and seem to have a lot in common with most here. Here's to 8 more years .

I found this board while searching for a Double Slam Chyna figure for sale, and someone had posted it with a Triple H as the best example of a Chyna figure to display. I stumbled on the custom board shortly thereafter, and have been enjoying it since. Now I am looking forward to hitting 50 posts so that I can see the classified classifieds board I keep hearing about.

I think it had to do with me looking for custom WWF arenas on Google and I came accross this amazing Raw titantron by a user name "h2k customs" and I immediately fell in love with this guys work. Somehow it linked me to these forums and I remember always reading up on here but it took me a few years to finally join. Been lurking for over a decade now and occasionally I'll post.

I must have done a google search for "terrible opinions and annoying threads" and clicked on the first site that popped up.

Hmmmm... I remember the old FigureZone website...for whatever reason missed out on AFR, but ended up joining Jeremy Padawer's blog a few years later...some guys on that blog were members of WF and mentioned it a lot...I was curious, so I checked it out for myself as a lurker in 2008... I eventually joined in 2009, met some class acts here. Last year I was invited to join two other forums, but one closed down and the other was quite dead...I much prefer WF anyway, I'm on here every day in some capacity. Cheers to you all - you know who you are.

I found it way back in the day shortly after its creation. I lurked around the boards for a few years and gave up the internet and television for quite some time. I came back here in 2012 and stayed ever since.

Bought the best of WCW Ric Flair randomly after years of not collecting and wanted to know more about what was going on with figures.
