Raw thoughts
-Braun Strowman is a beast, but limited. He needs to murder Show and Henry. -Balor & Rollins will tear the house down at SummerSlam -Nia Jax is as over as a wet fart, a wet fart may indeed be more over than she is.

It looks like the only good thing about Raw this week was the main event segment. Everything else looks like garbage. I still stick to my opinion that SmackDown is the better show with the better roster.

Gotta admit Slaters promo was Better on Smackdown than on RAW.

Raw was mediocre. I like they're moving Reigns down the card, and Rusev is a fighting champion defending every other week. Hopefully Rusev can defeat Roman at Summerslam, but I'm not holding my breath there. Finn/Rollins is going to be exceptional. Rollins and Sami had a great match, but it's been overused since Seth returned from injury. This was at least their third encounter since then.
I don't see what people are digging about Orton right now? He's using Cena levels of humor, and mostly just running around like a man going through a midlife crisis. Is it because he's wearing pants regularly? I'm just gonna go with the pants. That's the most interesting aspect of Orton's current run.

Really mediocre Raw imo but I loved the end. Orton was great. Really want to see Orton beat Brock. I really more so just want to see the F5 into an RKO. Really good feud building moment. It all felt important. Wow the one guy i usually agree with lol... Well I'm enjoying RAW again, they are booking properly. Remember somebody had to write in Randy's surprise RKO that took this feud to big match feel. SD offered Ambrose vs Ziggler who had his time twice as WHC and failed to draw. His first "World Title run" was 6 minutes long. So not a World Title run. The second time he won he didn't even get to defend the title one time at a PPV before he lost to Del Rio. I think you have your facts wrong. I thought the Smackdown main event was great last week and Ziggler is the right guy to elevate over on Smackdown since AJ is tied up with Cena. Ziggler hasn't had his time at all, and I am personally looking forward to him getting his shot.

I rather liked this weeks show. US title match looks like a good start to rehabbing Reigns' career. Also as one of the only guys on here who seems to ever like Orton, I think it's cool to see him with a little more energy these days.

I look at it like this...
The music wasn't brand new anymore. Squash matches weren't as surprising. Commentators weren't brand new any more. Seen that set last week. And we knew (or should have) that we weren't going to be getting 20 minute title changes each week. So it's only natural that the new car smell would wear off a lil bit.
That being said, I thought RAW was decent. I get what they were going for with the Enzo/Sasha/Charlotte/Jericho thing, but it went on way too long. And I don't like that Enzo & Cass weren't in a match together. They're the hottest thing in WWE ATM, take advantage of it. I think Roman & Rusev always have had great chemistry in the ring, so I'm okay with that feud. The PTP feud is an odd choice, but at least they are using the whole roster. I can live without the Golden Truth. The Jinder/Slater thing was alright. I'm interested in the Club vs New Day feud.
No Neville? No Owens or Finn in a match?
Jimmin Marvinluder was funny. Would love for WWE to hire a big guy to show up and claim to be Jimmin Marvinluder. Only for Jericho to say he's not needed now that Owens has his back. The look on Owens face would be worth it IMO.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I want Orton to win at Summerslam. He's been great the past two weeks honestly. And this surprisingly has a big fight feel that I seriously doubted it would have. SummerSlam is gonna be great. I don't know man it could be hit or miss. I'm really bummed that Owens/Jericho and Cesaro seemingly aren't going to get big singles matches.

The GM/Authority nonsense that would take up 30 minutes of in-ring chatting has now been relugated to backstage where it should be. We've been screaming for years to give the mid-card some storylines and PTP feud and Slater/Jinder are doing exactly that. I think it's right for them not to blow their wad every week by showcasing Finn, Owens and Neville in the ring - 2 of 3 of them still got camera time and were used well. It's unrealistic to expect the music, set, and squashes to radically change every week. They have made their changes and it's refreshing (I think at least). Do i like Nia Jax? Not at all, but they are building her up to challenge Sasha eventually, seriously when last have we seen any sort of commitment by the writers to build guys up. Cesaro is another seed they've started to plant. And punksnotdead Ziggler is a workhorse that over-sells too much for my liking. Ambrose and him will have a technically great match, but it will be nothing like Finn and Rollins. I guess WWE actually did what they set out to do and start quality competition amongst fans.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough with my post, but I still think it was better than some of the RAW's from a few months ago. I was just saying that the show wasn't going to be as well received as last weeks because the newness of it is already wearing off. I didn't love everything last night, but I'm still very pleased with the direction WWE is going and can't wait for SD tonight.

RAW was good, just not as good as last week. The Orton/Lesnar segment stole the show. I think SmackDown takes it this week, and I believe the writers made it that way accordingly.

show was decent enough. i enjoyed cesaro/sheamus and thinking maybe they are gonna go somwhere with cesaro finally rollins/zayn was fantastic, sami zayn is quickly becoming one of the most underrated guys on the roster. he is incredibly talented in the ring, and while he always gets put in "big" matches it just seems like he doesn't have a true role, or character. he's just the guy who's there and hits cool moves but he's over as and he just has this appeal or likeability that comes naturally. i seriously hope he's not a guy who just gets lost in the shuffle after a few years. i actually enjoyed the ending. the build might be weird, but Orton/Lesnar is a match the fans have been clamoring for since Lesnar came back. and having Orton get the upper hand at least for one night adds a little intensity to the feud which we need all we can get considering it's completely random and one guy won't be there half the time to build it
