Garbrandt vs Mizugaki will end with the KO of the night by Garbrandt. This fight shouldnt even be happening. He should be fighting Dillashaw or the canceled Lineker fight.

Currently rewatching McGregor/Diaz I now - I hope for Conor's sake he switches up the left uppercut - it was such a tell first time...great fight though, and I have no doubt the rematch will be no different... Also rewatched Nate's fight against Michael Johnson...loved him taunting Johnson, who really had nothing but the same tired game plan against him. Hoping Nate gets the W in spectacular fashion - but anything can happen, eh?  Did you watch the extended 'Bad Blood' video? It's on Youtube. I can't wait for this! |

The fact that Garbrandt is on the undercard for this is a ing disgrace I don't think it is... they usually have a popular fighter headlining the TV portion. It will help build up a fan-base for him too... I could see him fighting once more after this (Bryan Caraway maybe?), then challenging for the title. I'd love to see him fight Dillashaw too, as you said before - but think they'll go straight to Cruz/Dillashaw 2... there's not that many contenders out there for Cruz. |

Not sure how popular Cody is right now with the masses. But he was red hot coming off his main event Fight Night fight. Cruz and him have been going back and forth as of late as well. Glover/Rumble are big name fighters who are definitely on the decline of their careers. While I think its a solid matchup, this would be better to draw eyes. As far as the next fight...Im pissed this fight with Mizugaki is even happening. Hell, I was bitching about the idea of Cody/Caraway. I would have been ok with Lineker. That could be an absolute brutal slug fest. I would prefer Dillashaw for a title shot. Having to fight Mizugaki, then Caraway or Lineker, then Dillashaw is absurd. I am hearing that an impressive win here, Cody will get his title match next against Cruz...for nothing less because it will sell. Dillashaw will get the winner. You are right that the pool of fighters is not deep. BUT....I think the Bantamweights have some nice young talent there. And I think they have a solid 3-4 guys who can contend for the title right now. With the bad blood between Cody and Connor, I would love to see Cody move up to Featherweight for a fight or Connor trying to move down. LOL! That could be a ridiculous hard hitting fight. |
