I saw it last night at 7:00 at the early screening here in Canada. It was hands down the best movie I've ever seen. The audience stoop up in a standing ovation at the last scene. Also, please do not waste your time watching through the credits for an end credit scene, because there isn't one, and I wasted my time waiting for one lol. But, yeah it was AMAZING.

I read an article on Facebook a few weeks ago and JJ confirmed he didn't do a post credits scene. So I didn't stick around. Even having read that, I kind of still was like "should I get up and leave now?" haha.

It was great getting to feel like a kid again once those words began to crawl into the distance....I think they did a great job with this. Hats off to JJ and company. The new characters were very good and meshed with the old very well....I actually do care about the new faces going into the next set of films. Perfect cliffhanger ending. I'm glad we wont have too wait long, I honestly can't wait to see how episode 8 unfolds.

But I didn't read the article, I don't care for social media, I completely hate it.

JJ was the right guy to relaunch everything but if anyone can deliver an Empire Strikes Back level story and atmosphere, it's going to be Johnson imo. I have a feeling we're going to see lots of dark undertone in this next go round. It's only a year and a half away. Pretty exciting stuff. Interested to see if JGL makes it into the films. I feel it's probably a lock at this point.

In THAT scene (you know what one I'm talking about if you've seen the film), I lost all feeling in my body. I cried more than I ever have in any movie ever. Holy .

I thought it was pretty phenomenal. I had a hard time getting into it for the first 15 or so minutes but then it just really hit its stride for me. Loved Rey. I got kind of emotional at several different parts that I won't spoil for anyone. I might go see it again this weekend but I'm taking my nephew next weekend. So this is a multiple viewing event for me regardless. The only thing I didn't like was the way Snoke looked, as his cgi felt like a relic from the prequels. I thought this kicked the ever living sh*t out of Episodes 1-3 though. There were so many callbacks to the OT and I mean that in a good way. It's the 7th film in a franchise that knows exactly where it came from. Snoke was the only thing I wasn't too keen on too... he just looked really CGI - I'm surprised they didn't go with someone in prosthetics, especially as they were trying to keep it all as real/old-school as possible. It's only a minor gripe though... it didn't take away the awesomeness of the movie. Did every else have 21 minutes of previews? ...I went to the midnight showing on Wednesday (Thurs morn) and it started at about 12:02... there were NO trailers or ads at all!

Saw it last night, absolutely amazing! went to a 1:45 am showing with reserved seats at an ultrascreen and it went so smoothly and no huge waiting time or anything. Definitely ranks up there with the originals in my book. It's very hard for me to rank em but it'd go something like...
1)Return of the Jedi Tie between The Force Awakens and Empire Strikes Back 4) A New Hope 5) Revenge of the Sith 6) Phantom Menace 7) Attack of the Clones
I'm gonna see it again in a couple days for sure. Will need to see it a few times before I can fully rank them but man, did the movie not disappoint. Yes there were a lot of things that could be explained more but for packing it 30 years of back story, they did a great job. I'm a little disappointed in some characters that were shown in some of the merchandise that were cut or got extremely minimal screen time but not a big deal. Everything was awesome and I feel like a kid again.

I loved it. I wasn't sure how well I would like the new characters but they were great. Poe surprised the heck out of me with how much I liked him. I was in love with Rey by the end. Everyone in the theater cheered whenever one of the old characters appeared, major or minor characters. And many, myself included, cried and good and sad times.
There was plenty that surprised me and things I never expected I would see. The story went a total different direction than what I got from the trailers.
My only gripe and a very small one that I can live with was not enough stuff with the bad guys. But I'm always a sucker for the Empire, Cobra, Decepticons and bad guys like that.
I can't wait for Episode 8!

I'm in love. The new cast has an amazing presence on the screen. Everyone cheered when it said "LucasFilms." I got eye watery when it said "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...." and the opening crawl, I'm not afraid to admit, I cried. Everyone began cheering, people were crying. Whenever an old cast member came on screen, everyone cheered. (Loved the Falcon intro) It was funny, it was serious, it was sad. Amazing movie!
Poe has an insane "cool" factor. He seriously reminds me of Han Solo. Rey, man she was phenomenal. She's perfect. She has an amazing feeling on screen already. Kylo Ren, man he's a total badass. He's a lunatic. Adam Driver, I love you. Finn is my favorite. I LOVED Boyega's performance. He's just the best thing ever. Finn is without a doubt my favorite character of the Sequels (so far) He could possibly be my favorite by the end of Episode 9 out of every movie.

THAT was well worth the 32 year wait!!
No complaints. Loved it. Need to spend money buying merchandise ASAP.

I will say, the 3D goes to to s*** when you got tears in your eyes. Tears of happiness or sadness. It's all the same.

Just came home from Cinema. That Movie was Awesome! Much better than Episode I, II & III and as good(if not even better but i might have to watch a few times more to judge that) as Episode IV, V, VI.

I will say without going into much detail, I was very surprised with how small of a role Captain Phasma had. They way they were acting, I expected her to have a much larger part. Or at least be a bad-ass or something. Neither of those things happened.
