My travel package transportation is picking me up at 2 PM for WrestleMania. You think I should get on that? I don't care to be there at the preshow and I'd be okay with getting in my seats a half an hour before the main show. Anyone think it'll take that long to get into the arena? Last year I saw people on twitter in line for hours, but I heard Levi's stadium went super smooth. The big attendance difference should cut that time because AT&T Stadium was a hundred thousand people. I'm thinking maybe skipping the shuttle and taking a cab to the arena at 5-5:30.

Ive been to 4 Manias. I like to get there the earlier the better. Even if you sit in your seats for an hour before the show, you can still just soak it all in that youre there. Its lifechanging. And yeah, last year was awful about getting people in. Luckily I got in on time, but again, I always try to be there early. |

I'm finally ticking Mania off my bucket list. First time heading to America too. Got the WWE ticket package since I couldn't be bothered dicking around trying to get tickets for all the stuff I wanted to go to. Only thing I don't care for is the HOF (have two tix for anyone who wants them). Doing Wrestlecon and a couple of indies as well, so I'm sure I'll be all wrestled out come Monday.

I almost wanted to blow a gasket today. So someone that is going with us found out today that their college test got switched apparently from next Wednesday to Monday because someone else in the class requested it at their convenience. Our flight leaves at 1030 on Monday and gets in at 1 which is when the exam is. So yeah we were panicking hard today and in a couple stressful hours and 210 more dollars later we found another separate flight for them to get back on time. To say I am mad is an understatement I seriously hate some people out there right now. Thankfully we found that or I couldn't have lived with myself if I went and they didn't get to go on the trip because one person decided to be a d@@@ and ruin a once in a lifetime chance. Why couldn't they just change their own flight? Really dumb/poor planning. I'm sure the professor would've honored the original exam date if your friend explained the circumstances... Well we have known that the exam was going to be that date up until today when it got switched and tried to talk to the professor and they said they would not switch because this person requested it to first. So I don't see how it is our fault in this sense when had the original schedule been honored the way it was we would have been fine. Up until today that's the way it was but apparently one student has to have it switched at their convenience. I mean we're out the extra 200 bucks but it's whatever. People need to honor their schedule for what it is. |

I bought a premium ticket to see Hulk Thursday. I'll be at Wrestlecon both days. Have a NXT ticket though I'm debating on getting rid of it. And of course Mania Sunday. In between all that, a lot of the beach and universal and some indies.

Our first day at the parks is Thursday, though we may go for a couple of hours tomorrow just to check everything out (we have a fourth day on our passes and only scheduled three visits, so we might as well use it.) |

Islands of Adventures is currently packed in the Harry Potter parts. Outside that it's not too bad. 30 minute waits at most. |

Guys, make sure you're checking the heat index in Florida. It's not about the temperature down here, it's the humidity. I'm in South Florida, but it's been getting hot lately. Mid 80s easily feels like low 90s right now when it gets to late afternoon. Just do the cliche stuff and constantly apply sunscreen and drink tons of water. It sucks out there when you're standing around in the sun. I'd even recommend HeatGear Under Armor if you have something with sleeves on it to stay cool and covered. Wear a hat if you can. I'm a big advocate of covering up as much as possible with lightweight clothes. It's less of a hassle than the sunscreen in my experience.
I've been in Florida for nearly a decade and I still find new ways to get sunburnt. It's awful. It's hot as balls out there and you don't want to ruin the rest of your trip. All things considered though, this is actually still a pretty good time of the year in terms of heat/rain. August, September, October is really what I refer to as Florida Winter, wherein it's so disgustingly hot out you don't want to leave your house.

They're not that bad. If you want to do the Harry Potter rides you should do them 1st because they are the most popular attractions. The lines are constantly moving but it's a long wait. The earlier you go the better. |
