What with D-Von loosing every single match lately, which ends with Bubba giving him an evil look.
It appears WWE are in the early stages of splitting the duo, personally I think this is a bad move, when these 2 split and go solo, it never works, last time it happened D-Von was lumbered as a reverend for 6 months in 2002.
although in all fairness, when they split in TNA, things seemed to go ok, and Bubba (Bully Ray) went on to become a top heel, so who knows??
thoughts......

Its the same outcome. Bubba shines and D-Von floats until he eventually fades away. Unless DVon is to the point where he's done and goes on as A. Trainer or B. Manager and Bubba goes on to a single run, then there's no point to a split.

They're really ing this Dudleyz return up. Like worse than RVDs returns. I don't know if creative just doesn't understand what they have or something. But it's completely disgusting how after a year , they've done NOTHING. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind an attempt at a Bully Ray style character

I'm starting to think D-Von is ready to retire. He didn't resign originally when Bully Ray started, and I expect him to retire if Bully Ray starts again.

I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind an attempt at a Bully Ray style character Remember when LOD returned to face Kane and RVD? Or when LOD became LOD 2000 after losing to up and coming tandems such as the Outlaws? Dudley Boyz are just there to do a job to help promote other teams. Their time is up sadly Dudleys will be fortunate if they're split is not over something idiotic.

The Dudleyz aren't some washed up, junked out flashes from the past. They look and wrestle just as good if not better than 20 years ago. That's something LOD could not say in 97/98.

It's the same wash rinse and repeat with them. Come on wrestle as a team, have no real direction after putting young teams over and then split and fade away until Being released

Bubba only became the top heel in TNA because he came from WWE. Bubba would never ever be the top guy in any other promotion, there's no value in him.

Sad, considering we never got The Club vs Dudleyz feud.

They should never have turned them heel.

I think he wanted the last wwe run and done. Then he did the aces and eights stuff I believe. I'd imagine he's ready to end it and get his hall of fame nod. They still should have given them one last title run.

I'm never one to focus on body size, but D-Von seems to look like he's been getting heavier as of late. It seemed near the end of his TNA run that he was winding down, this could finally be it.
As soon as they started doing those close ups of Bubba after last week's tag matxh, you could definitely see what they were hinting at.

They should never have turned them heel. Not true. The Dudleyz are amazing heels. The problem is that from day one of bringing them back, creative had no idea where to go with them or what to do with them. Vince only knew that Bubba (and to a lesser extent D-Von) had gotten hot in TNA and he wanted them back on the payroll.

I don't like it. I'm not a fan of the Dudleys as singles guys.
I would have loved to have seen the Dudleys come back, claim the titles, and then really put another up-and-coming team over by finally losing the belts, but they've been nothing but glorified jobbers since their return. Beating them don't mean squat. I can honestly say the best thing about their return will have been the action figures.

I don't want them to split up at all. I want them to (even if it only lasts a day) get that 25th tag team title before they retire.

But from they turned heel they've fallen flat, lose their matches and barely appear. When they were faces they were heavily featured and had pretty big feuds. I honestly cannot see them win the tag belts at this point.

Agree with this 100% They are treated like jobbers. If you really want a win over the Dudleys to mean something, they can't lose every single time since they've been back. Same with RVD. They're really ing this Dudleyz return up. Like worse than RVDs returns. I don't know if creative just doesn't understand what they have or something. But it's completely disgusting how after a year , they've done NOTHING. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind an attempt at a Bully Ray style character
