Injuries can occur at any time. Some guys have gotten hurt doing the most basic of maneuvers (Bray Wyatt, Neville, Luke Harper, Rollins, Enzo). Rollins turnbuckle powerbomb looks more vicious than it is, but it's not much more of an impact than a hard whip into a turnbuckle or a german suplex. It looked like Balor's injury occurred when he put his arm back to break his fall, something he's probably done hundreds of times, but this time it backfired.

Definitely hate seeing my bhoy Finn Balor getting hurt. I was really excited for him winning the big one last night. Never thought anybody from 2 towns over from me in small town Ireland would swing that.
BUT
I think this will work out for the best. I wanna see him win the Rumble and headline WM with Rollins. Some careful booking applied with patience and its $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Wanted him to win bad last night.....but this is better in the long run.

I have a feeling that Finn Balor isn't going to get a 2nd chance. Daniel Bryan never got a 2nd chance after he returned. They stuck him in the mid-card with the IC Title until he got injured again.
Daniel Bryan was so over for like a year and then he finally won the belt and got injured immediately. We all thought as soon as he came back that he'd get his spot back, but WWE had already moved on to Reigns.
I have a feeling that by the time Balor comes back, WWE is going to be back on the Roman Reigns bandwagon and moving toward the Big Cass and Braun Strowman bandwagon.

While I don't disagree with the thought, Bryan was someone they didn't believe in to be main event and the fans forced their hand. Balor has been on top in nXt and I don't remember ever hearing that he wasn't expected to succeed. Perhaps they'll view him as a Rollins in this case?

I am a huge Balor fan so this news was kinda a punch in the gut! I was so excited when he won the belt I was really looking forward to him having a lengthy title run. I know accidents happen but this in now the second wrestler injured by the same move. Maybe it should be on the banned list? Even if it's not Rollins fault it just seems like the end result is a injury and not really worth the spot. With that being said I really hope WWE puts the title on Kevin Owens.

I'd love to see Balor win the Rumble and go on to a rematch with Rollins.

Rollins either needs to learn to work safely, or get the out of the ring.

Balor is supposed to be out 4 to 6 months which puts us at around Royal Rumble 2017 time Fast Lane time but if Balor can somehow return early I would keep him off of WWE TV until RR 2017 and have him return as The Demon King as a surprise entrant
Could you imagine Balor as #28, #29 or #30 and his Demon King entrance in the Rumble Match
