According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, here are the top 10 most watched WWE Network shows of the week. The first five episodes of Holy Foley were placed OnDemand after Sumemrslam and did well, but the real surprise is that NXT Takeover: Brooklyn was reportedly watched more than the WWE Summerslam PPV. Here is the top 10…
1. NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 2. SummerSlam 3. NXT Takeover Brooklyn preview show 4. An episode of Holy Foley 5. SummerSlam kickoff show 6. Another episode of Holy Foley 7. Another episode of Holy Foley 8. Ride Along with Enzo & Cass & Dudleys 9. WWE 24: Women’s Revolution 10. Another episode of Holy Foley

Holy crap. I'm not even sure what to say about that.. It's saying that NXT puts on a better product than the main roster, despite having only one hour of tv time weekly. NXT is booked how a wrestling show should be booked.

At first glance, it seems surprising, but if you really think about who subscribes to the Network (by and large, the hardcore audience), it sort of makes sense. The hardcore fan base is likely more invested in NXT right now than they are the main product. It's interesting that this is the first time this has happened, or at least the first time it's been reported.
It's also possible that NXT saw an increase because subscribers and their buddies were getting together for UFC and watched NXT beforehand. That's what I did.
You can spin this a few different ways - including seeing it as a negative, because it indicates that there is a very specific group of people willing to pay $9.99 a month for the Network, and most of them are probably already signed on. It's further evidence that the plateau the Network hit over the last couple of quarters is likely where it's going to stay, especially domestically.

The domestic number is 1,130,000 and the international number is 381,000 for a total of 1,511,000 total paid subscribers. These are the latest numbers (covering through Mania), released at the end of the July. Typically, the subs go down following Wrestlemania. The numbers do not include free trial subscribers. They had about 370,000 of those. During Mania season, they convert about 15% of those into paid subscribers for at least one month. Outside of Mania season, that number is lower.

Triple H did tweet that it was the most watched Takeover ever, so it does seem possible. Now if we can just get more people to Smackdown than Raw

The surprising thing is, I really thought the SS card looked fantastic on paper. When I saw the final match listing I thought this had potential to be one of the best WWE shows ever. Unfortunately, it just didn't deliver and the show was too long.

The last time I remember it being reported it was under 50,000 buys at this point.

Welp, Time to put HHH in the captains chair. Dude clearly understands the audience and knows how to properly book a show.

Holy Foley is interesting buts it's boring Dewey is like trying to convey his I'm my own man I got this job on my own merits crap dude your dad is Mick Foley be happy you have a rather easy life ahead of you. And sorry Noelle could be in wwe but not as a wrestler doesn't have in her bayley though sweet and innocent has a drive, sasha has a drive, Noelle is like look daddy I'm like you I'm gonna be a wrestler. It feels like wwe couldn't get the rights to Hogan knows best so they made there own show, and seriously a clown a clown who has to be living off parents money to live in up state new York.

One simple explanation is that it was 2 hours. I've watched NXT twice, definitely not rewatching 4.5 hours of summerslam

That means it's time for Vince to bury it.
