I finally found a perfect King Kong Bundy on the bay. I bought him loose. Yesterday I opened my mailbox and found this: Just two pieces of foam with no King Kong Bundy sandwiched between. Keep in mind that Bundy weighs over 450 pounds, and an envelope like this is not sufficient to hold a walking condominium that costs me FIFTY ING DOLLARS!! So if you're selling your figures, please don't make the same mistake as this person and end up losing your expensive figure plus having to refund the buyer's money.

Holy ing sh*t! Wtf! You need to contact the seller and whatever post company shipped it. Damn. I really feel bad for you. It's all the fault of the seller. You can tell by the envelope that the glue just dried up and broke on that envelope. Either it was an old envelope or it was the heat combined with the fact that the figure was too bulky and heavy to be shipped that way. Even if it hadn't broke, it's still a sucky way to send an action figure that I paid $50 for.

To be fair, had the glue not given up its have been fine. You say he used foam that would protect it. The shipping company should handle with care. It's a no brainier with regards to getting your money back though

It's pretty sad someone knows that a figure is worth a lot of money, yet they don't understand the concept of properly packing something they are selling. Considering all the selling of things I've done through the years I'd say there is no excuse even from the sellers side.

Wow. He used the cheapest possible envelope. If you're going to sell loose figures, it's good to invest in high quality bubble mailers. I always wrap my figures in a sheet of bubble wrap and then put them in a bubble mailer and I've never had a problem.

Should have splurged for a bubble mailer.

I use the ones with just a top and bottom and tape them up even after i use the sticky. I used to wrap them in a newspaper and never had a problem either That sucks man. I had a customer send me a check last week and it came all mangled up from the post office machine. Had to call the guy and ask for a new one

I never even thought about that when I did it but I won't use newspaper anymore.

That sucks to see hsppen man. Especially since we all know he was such an imporant buy for your collection. Obviously you'll get your money back, or you BETTER at least, but its definitely more of a disappointment that you couldn't scratch Bundy off your wants list yet. Be vigilant though, I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to add him to your collection again.

LAZINESS... when I send a fig I wrap him in cellophane, tape it then put him in the mailer and then TAPE the mailer with heavy tape too. Takes no time...that's awful I'd have been LIVID!!! How does a mailman EVEN DELIVER an empty OPEN envelope?

Sucks man, although at least eBay will cover your losses though now you have to go on the hunt again. I bought a loose, complete Bundy on the bay about a month ago for $30. I thought it was a sweet deal at the time.
