I’m rooting for Clemson, but sorry, that call is ridiculous. Dude had possession of the ball and took at least three steps before it got knocked out of his hands. That’s a fumble. If taking steps ain’t a football move then what is? Plus one foot + possession is a catch. That reversal makes no sense.

Oklahoma didnt belong and everyone knew Oklahoma didnt belong but people keep beating their chest saying "Oh conference championships...." Well there's your conference champion getting beat like they stole something. Im not going to be a bit surprised if we dont see something similar to Ohio State when Clemson is done with them. The problem is, who was there instead of Oklahoma? Whoever the 4th team was would’ve gotten plastered. If Baylor had beat OU, or if Utah had beat Oregon. LSU, Clemson, and Ohio State are just a cut above the rest this year. Its not so much an argument this year as for previous years when people said "conference champions"....Id argue that Auburn & Alabama (with Tua) are both clearly better then Oklahoma. Id take Georgia over Oklahoma as well but the regular season did 2 of those teams in and LSU already trounced Georgia. Its just one of those things do you want the 4 best teams or do you want the 4 best teams with the best records or do you want the 4 best teams who are conference champions. Every year there is clearly 1 team that people know just dont belong but for some reason they get in. I wasnt a fan of it at first but expansion to 8 teams is a necessity.

With what LSU did to Georgia and oklahoma, oklahoma beating Baylor twice, Oregon killing Utah and Tua getting hurt I'm very confident my gators were the 4th best team in the country.
Sadly a piss poor performance vs Georgia kept us out of any consideration

Who do yall think is going to be in the cfp? Lord know is isn't my Baylor Bears....thanks Rhule. I have a feeling Saban is going to pull it out again this year; ol' tricky nicky.

Alabama & Clemson are locks IMO. If OSU plays the right amount of games I think they're a lock as well but will get dusted in the semi-finals. 4th team Im leaning towards Florida if they play Bama close and/or win in the SECCG

I'm starting to lean toward Notre Dame being a lock... or at least very likely. I'm not convinced that Ohio State would jump ND if we lose to Clemson in the ACC Championship game. They've already set a precedent of 1-loss Clemson ahead of Ohio State, so why should a 1-loss team with a W and L against Clemson drop below OSU?(blah blah Trevor Lawrence blah blah). But I guess if it's a blow out that could sway the committee. Florida is a wild card though, if they beat Alabama. But just playing close won't matter, they already have 1 loss. I think Texas A&M and Cincinnati are boned regardless of what happens.

SOS is likely going to be ND's downfall because Florida & A&M are going to have better resume's even with a ND win over Clemson. Just my honest opinion, Trevor plays in the ACCCG they're going to beat ND by two scores. This ultimately needs to be the year they do 8 teams though. I think they thought they were going to hit the nail on the head and just have 4 Conf champions this year but the Pac12 & Big12 screwed the pooch on that so now you're going to have at least 1 team that isnt a conf champion Personal opinion, taking away records and just looking at the on field play. My top 8 for a playoff would be the following.. 1)Alabama 2)Clemson 3)Ohio St 4)Florida 5)Notre Dame 6)Texas A&M 7)Miami 8)Georgia

Welp, looks like it's time to adopt another Championship format.
May I suggest a 32-team 4 region stage format, the 6 teams with the highest point totals that are prime numbers advance to two 6-quarter scrimmages, most touchdowns in odd-numbered minutes wins all the marbles!

As a lifelong Florida Gators fan, how the actual is Anthony Richardson not our starting QB? Emory Jones is TRASH and wouldn't start at any school that had aspirations of winning 9+ games. Also O-H- oh no! Man I HATE Ohio State. Beautiful stuff.

This is a dead board.
Treveyon Henderson the running back from Ohio State is a hometown guy. Dude is KILLING it as a freshman. Lost his senior year to covid, but had 53 total TDS as a junior and 2400+ yards and 45 tds rushing. My old high school managed to hold him to 11 rushes for 34 yards. Pretty much the best thing we've done since the 90s lol.

Also O-H- oh no! Man I HATE Ohio State. Beautiful stuff. As a Gators fan it's frustrating that Jones is a high percentage completion low yardage QB. He can go 15 for 20 but it's only going to be for 105 yards with a few interceptions. Part of me wonders since he was originally recruited by Urban Meyer if maybe Dan Mullen just looked past the faults and thought "well if Urban was high on him he must be good". You knew it was bad news when he just kept hanging around the program waiting for his chance. If he was actually good he would have transferred to another school to be a starter last year or the year before when he was beat out for the starting role.
