A lot of people saying 'a star is born' for Garbrandt...Christ!!! What a performance... Cruz has a hell of a chin and a work ethic like none other - but man - Cody has my respect. Hell of a ing fight. I thought Garbrandt had a chance at cracking Dominick and getting the KO. His footwork and head movement impressed me. Plus, his power was the deciding factor in this fight. He hurt Cruz a couple of times during the fight. |

To me it will be a perfect night if Ronda wins. If she does win and appears at wm 33, it will be a bigger deal than if she lost.

I think the main event will end in the first. I want Amanda to win, but Ronda is a threat with her clinch, her judo, her punching power, and that armbar. Nunes also has to get the finish quick since she has tend to get tired by the third round. This fight is a toss up.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. While I can recognize her star power, I don't think she brings anything exciting to MMA at all. I've seen way better fights in the time she's been gone than I did while she was around. Sadly the thoughts and opinions of the few are massively outweighed by those of the many...for the most part who only take it upon themselves to look at what's in the front pages... I showed Nunes vs Tate to a friend yesterday - she hoped that the Nunes from that fight shows up to face Rousey. Either way, it's gonna do great business. I know I said I was speechless, but... Needless to say, my friend is feeling quite smug right now... |

Ronda is making $3 million dollars for this fight. She essentially got paid to be Bork from Survivor Series this year. Amanda made $100,000 to show/$100,000 to win.
