Apparently DW has called off the Dillashaw/Garbrandt fight now - not sure why though.
Disappointing.

Anybody following the Cyborg/Magana drama? It's getting ridiculous and Angela is really making herself look like a tool on ALL sorts of social media. I've seen bits and pieces on Bleacher. It's ridiculous! What drama, eh? |

Big Country leaving UFC for Bellator was expected (at least by me) but I didn't expect talk of a Chuck Liddell return in 2017!
What do you guys think?

Sounds like Brandon Vera just kicked Angela Magana off the Alliance MMA team. Had a few choice words for her. Go check out that Open letter he left on FB. Not suprised though. She's bringing a LOT of unnecessary attention by posting about it non stop.
Also, I like that Big Country signed with Bellator. Seems like a good fit for him, he'll bring some fans with him too and that's always a good thing. I just didn't know his contract had expired so it did come to me as a suprise.
I dunno if the Liddell return is a legitimate thing yet. I heard him BS about a fight if he was offered 12 Mill he'd have no problem with it. I think some headlines misinterpreted it for clicks.

REALLY hope we don't see a Liddell comeback... don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan - but he was badly KO'd in his last 2/3 UFC fights and it was time to hang them up back then. A comeback would probably not end well.
Nelson's an interesting addition/signing by Bellator... I could see them putting him in high-profile fights against Fedor or Bobby Lashley.

The Mauler has never looked better than he has today. Damn that was a hell of a fight from bith men really. Glover is all freakin' heart. I'm a big fan of both these guys, hard to see Glover take so much punishment. It does make me think though, how freakin' strong is Anthony Johnson?

That was a great fight and performance from Gus - as KK said though, the punishment Glover took was hard to watch at times... the guy's as tough as nails.

I also saw that Garbrandt vs Dillashaw was probably getting scrapped. While I too am dissapointed, did anyone sort of suspect this was going to happen? Nowadays, its seems like there is a correlation between heated grudge matches and the likelihood that the fight will get called off for injury or some other reason. I may be totally wrong, and fights where there is no bad blood get cancelled/rescheduled just as often, but I really started to feel like fights that seem to be sold heavily as 'bad blood' fights tend to not follow through more often.
On a side note, has anyone heard about the current feud going on between pro bodybuilder Matthew Kader and Team Alpha Male? Supposedly, Kader has bought a plane ticket to Sacramento after Cody challenged him and he plans to fight Cody right inside TAM's gym on June 25th and stream it on iPPV. While I don't see it actually happening, it's amusing to watch them go back and forth. After viewing their tweets, I'm not sure who the bigger D-Bag is (am I allowed to say that? I can't remember the rules. Apologies if not!).
