Gutted for Rose. She looked amazing until she got dunked on her head. Talks of her walking away, fair play. Enjoy the farm. Also... can BJ Penn just please retire, abysmal fighter in 2019 Yeah, that was a very nasty landing... thankfully, she wasn't hurt. I thought she looked great up until then too. Totally agree about Penn... he's one of my all-time favorite fighters - but watching him continue to fight (and set the record for most consecutive losses) is very hard. Please call it a day now, BJ.

I'm sorry. I know some of you like Rose. And I'm glad shes not dead. But shes the most overhyped 9-4 fighter ever. She was never a worthy champion. Sure, she beat Joanna clean ( the 2nd time. The first time she hit her in the back of the head multiple times on the stoppage. That's a dq my friends.) But she only got a title fight at 7-3 because the division was cleaned out. Gadehla 2x, esparza, Andrade, karolina, etc had all been dominated. Not sure why you have it in for Rose so much, Kenny... she beat the reigning champion - and best ever of the division - twice, but "was never a worthy champion"? And to suggest she should have been DQ'd in the first fight is a little crazy... maybe a couple of the last few shots were toward the back of the head (mainly as Joanna had her head turned), but the damage had already been done with the knockdown and follow-up punches. I haven't seen anyone have a problem with the stoppage or punches though (...I don't think Joanna did either).

According to wikipedia she was 6-3 and on a 1 fight winning streak when she got the title fight. She wasnt deserving.

Well, she was 4-1 since the Esparza fight - with that lone loss being a split-decision to Karolina. And it's not Rose's fault Joanna had cleaned out the division... Joanna had to fight somebody. I just think the fact that Rose KO'd Joanna in the 1st round - and then beat her again to prove it wasn't a fluke, shows that she was actually deseserving of the title-shot and a worthy champ. (She was also dominating Andrade until the slam).

Sonnen once dominated Silva until he ed up and got caught. Nobody wanted to give Chael a cookie for winning until he lost. Not saying you personally are doing that for Rose, but many are. Rose ed up. Andrade went for that same move in the 1st round and Rose blocked it because she had the position and Jessica had to alter the move. In the 2nd, she didnt have position but tried to block it anyway. She literally caused herself to get knocked out. A lot of people are calling it "lucky" or a "desperation move". But was it? She tried it in the previous round. It was clearly her gameplan. She likely knew Rose was too scared to stand in front of her and bang and far too quick to chase around. She was for sure ahead on the score cards. But she wasnt gonna survive 25 minutes with Andrade. Sorry for the long rant lol.

Didnt watch last night, but Kevin Lee is DONE. 3 losses in his last 4 and was very nearly knocked out in the only fight he won.

Elias Theodorou got released. The UFC shouldve had him play guitar and sing, because he sure as hell wasnt entertaining inside the Octagon.

Though Suarezs last fight wasn't her best, its still a better fight than Andrade vs Zhang. Maybe we get Suarez vs Waterson for the true #1 contender spot? Could be a good fight

They did that just to justify Zhang as the challenger. Its whatever, all the womens divisions are fairly screwy these days.

Liz Carmouche is getting a title fight?
Dana White doesnt even care anymore. Carmouche over literally anyone seems questionable. Zhang over Waterson is sketchy. Holm over Viera is crazy. Cyborg should face Cejudo next. Because why not.

Time for Dana White to make nice with Paul Daley. The UFC would be sinking fast in it's current state with any real competition. Lesnar always flirting but never coming back Dc ready to retire Jones always a risk to piss dirty Gus retired Manuwa retired Bisping retired Hendo retired Gsp retired Conor ? Who knows Diaz brothers ? Alvarez gone DJ gone Rory gone Mousasi gone Ronda and Miesha retired Cyborg wants out Sage northcutt didnt pan out Silva, Aldo clearly on the way out Dillashaw gone 2 years That's a lot of hits in a few year span. Cant let a possible big draw stay in bellator because he got koschek after the bell. I've never met the guy and I wanna sucker punch him.

Yeah, I always thought Daley's "lifetime" ban was unfair and rather ridiculous - especially when other fighters (...Khabib...) have since done far worse and barely get a slap on the wrist. I'm not sure Dana has the final say in these things anymore though... I mean, if a higher-up from WME wants Daley back in the UFC, he'll be back in the UFC.
