I give Stephens the benefit of the doubt... I mean, he's one of the toughest guys in the sport and I seriously doubt he'd bother going to Mexico and spend time and money on a training camp just to bitch out. Not to mention, eye scratches can be worse/more serious than eye pokes... the doctors couldn’t even pry his eyelid open with their hands.
It's disgraceful the way some of the crowd acted though... if you're going to be mad, be mad at your hometown boy for blatantly sticking his fingers out/raking Stephens' eyes.

Im in favor thar UFC should start using those gloves that kinda forces fighters hands to stay at a certain angles where it would be very easy to eye poke someone even accidentally

Man a lot of hate for Adesanya lol. Im indifferent on him, but nice combination to beat Whittaker. KO of the night for me was de Castro. Beautifully timed KO.

Main event likely cancelled for Saturday. Joanna has informed the ufc she wont make weight most likely and waterson ha declined a catchweight or flyweight bout.
Kind of shows how little she thinks she can beat joanna.

I always heard shes had a hard time making 115 lately Her new additions be giving me a hard time too. After that shameless joke, I am genuinely excited for a few of the fights on this card. Sure the main event is a bit underwhelming compared to others but I think this card overall is one I’ll check out for sure |

The UFC is gonna televise a murder soon if these refs dont step in.
I know they catch a lot of heat (Lawler vs askren) when they step in early, but I just watched this Mike Davis batter Gifford for 10 minutes too long. You have to step in at some point. Especially in a practically meaningless prelim fight.

Really good card. Actually PPV worthy, unlike most actual PPVs.
Glad Anders won, but he got lucky. He wasnt sharp and did way too much kicking.
Always happy when that weird creepy looking Luis Pena loses. Not many fighters I like less than him.
Dern got screwed. Not by the judges, by the UFC. Gone for a year and a half and THAT is what they give her? They must be unhappy with her because that was a message sent. Ribas is not quite her equal on the ground but is a very polished striker. That was methodical by Dana and Company.
James Vick lmao. When he was a dick to Gaethje I turned on him. And Gaethje ruined him with that right hand. Then Hooker blew him up. So he decided to take his glass jaw UP A CLASS AND FIGHT BIGGER, STRONGER GUYS? Ok bro. His jaw 100% has to be broken. Maybe flyweight for Vick?
Happy when any Gracie loses. He showed heart though.
Joanna made it look too easy. Waterson just isnt on her level. I'm not sure that was the boogeywoman, but it was better than her last 4 fights.
Thought it was great the Florida Boxing Commission took the red from the slaughter on the prelims off the rest of the card. Much respect for that

The sight of James Vicks unconcious, folded body was beautiful. Nikos foot hitting Texecutioners chin was like the Yankees bats hitting Astros pitching. I dont think the UFC should cut Vick though. He can add to a few more highlight reels.
