Dude is unreal. It feels stupid to say considering how easily Adesanya picked him apart, but if he doesn't get the next title shot, it's really feeling like Izzy is ducking him. |

I can't believe people paid money to watch that ^^. Askren was the real winner of that ordeal. He got himself a nice little extra retirement cheque to just show up and take a punch. He made a minimum half a million.

Total work ... with a real punch. Paul can't lose because it would hurt his 15 Minutes of fame, so he either pays guys like Askren to dive, or picks little guys like that NBA dude to smack. He's never going to go legit.

on a more positive note, it's great having a crowd again While I'm quickly reminded of my love/hate relationship with UFC crowds (I hate when they boo for lack of action), it just feels so good to hear a packed arena screaming. If I never see that Weidman replay again, it's still too soon. That was so nasty. |
