Judging by how horrible was in that fight. He isnt going to make it. Better stick to wrestling. He just opened up a whole can of worms with the whole "pro wrestlers are weak fake fighters who cant hang in MMA" stigma

If he returns to wrestling, I do not think it happens in WWE. He seems far too bitter about it, and if he ever does, I doubt it happens for many years.
That said... I could still see him returning to ROH or NJPW if he really wanted to go back to it.

He won't just quit MMA now, he may have been badly beaten but anyone that knows anything about Punk should know the last thing he'd do is go running straight back to Vince. Dude is as stubborn as they come.
He should have earned a lot of peoples respect for even attempting MMA.

spoiler: I was pulling for him. and he have a hell of a speech at the end. He says he won't give up on UFC. But I don't see him sticking around long. How soon til he is back? You can guess the results of his fight. I respect Punk for stepping in an octagon as much as I have disliked him lately. Although I do think he will reach a point where he walks back to Vince.

He just opened up a whole can of worms with the whole "pro wrestlers are weak fake fighters who cant hang in MMA" stigma Eh... Punk is 37 and barely has two years of training. If he were ten or fifteen years younger, I think it'd add a lot more to the argument.

If he does come back to wwe, maybe everyone treats him like garbage. If he ends up on Raw, Y2J might beat him up. If he ends up on SD, he better keep that gym bag as far away from Orton as possible.

I have got nothing but respect for Punk. The guy has a crazy work ethic, unfortunately it just didn't work out. Not everyone can be a professional fighter, especially at this point in his life. The fact he said ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) it and did it anyway means he won, even if he lost the fight.

The whole pro wrestlers vs UFC fighters is stupid. It is like apples vs oranges. A UFC fighter would have to come in and train to be a wrestler and vice versa. It is like the body builder who can bench press 375 ten times but can't throw an 80lb bale of hay, but a 150 lb man who works in the field can toss that same bale of hay up on a truck stacked with hay twice their height. You train to do something .
Besides cm punk was a goth kid, ect he never did anything in competive sports he just pro wrestled all the time. This was probably his first ever true sporting event in competition. He is a great pro wrestler but he has always came off as a female genital organ...and don't get me wrong he could probably kick my butt and I played college football, I respect him for giving it a try, but he is going up against professional competive sport fighting athletes, dana white hired the dude for money only, isn't he under contract for just two or three fights,

How does this thread even exist already? One fight. Scary fight for him, but one fight.
Nothing about this dude over the past two years has indicated he would ever wrestle again, much less for WWE. (other than him saying he would wrestle under a mask or something, he's repeatedly said it's behind him.) As stubborn as a human being as he seems to be, I don't know him personally, why would everyone want him so badly to run back to a place that treated him so poorly? The amount of smack spoken about CM Punk after just speaking the truth about the nightmarish brand he worked for is baffling to me sometimes. People can't be that blindly in support of WWE?
That said, I think he comes back at the Rumble.
(For the record I was being facetious about the rumble. I think/hope he comes back never)

Just a way to try and make wwe care about him quitting.

It's pretty amazing how butt-hurt people here still are over CM Punk simply for speaking the truth after he left the WWE. I have tremendous respect for the guy and have no doubt he'll fight again. He worked extremely hard, but was just overmatched because of lack of experience. No shame in that. Punk is a smart guy, he'll learn from it and get better.
As for questioning him coming back to the WWE, that's obviously not happening. He hates Hunter and Vince with a passion for obvious reasons, and Punk was already set for life financially before the big payday he's going to get from this fight and all the merchandise sales to go along with it. CM Punk will never go crawling back to the WWE because he doesn't need to. The guy is happy and content living his life without wrestling anymore, and people just can't seem to accept that. Not to mention, he gets to go home every night to his smoking hot wife, so I'm sure he's going to be just fine.

What an embarrassment. CM Punk got his ass handed to him by an inexperienced rookie. That guy won't last in the UFC and CM Punk has no business in the octagon. Two years of training and Punk looks like he just started training yesterday. It's one thing to try something and it's another to be delusional. I'm hoping Punk disappears for good.

It's hilarious how much people support the WWE and Vince at any and all costs and choose to ignore all of the facts that Punk laid out after he left the company.

He's not coming back. He s**ts on it every chance he gets. And his attitude towards it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.
