I started in 2005, but the oldest figured I've owned was TTL12 Rock. As far as Mattel goes, oldest figure I got was Basic 1 Evan Bourne. I picked him up when the figs started leaking before release.

I don't login to reply often, but I do like this topic. I got my first wrestling figures in 1985. It was the AWA Remco Battle Royal pack that had the ring, Steve Keirn, Stan Lane, Baron von Raschke, Rick Martel, Ric Flair, Larry Zbyszko, and referee Dick Woehrle.

My first wrestling figures were a set of Remco AWA Baron Von Raschke vs Rick Martel. Loved those things. I collected LJN WWF figures when those came around, but truthfully i liked playing with the Remcos more. That old wood ring was pretty fun. Lol

I started way back when I was just a lad in 1980-something and still have the first figure I ever got, LJN Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

My first WWE figures were Hasbro purple attire Razor Ramon and Hasbro black attire HBK. Got them both at KB Toys at the same time. This must have been in like 1994 I think?

Oh jeez, started collecting last fall, first figures that I remember were a Jakks Brothers of Destruction two pack (don't know the specific name, sorry), oldest figure is one of my BCA figures (not sure which one, The Rock maybe?), first and oldest Mattel figures were the battle pack series 1 Jericho & Michaels.

Oldest figures I still have are BCA series 1 Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart but those are figures I played with as a kid. I had Hasbros as well but don't have any of them anymore.
I really didn't start collecting until about 2003 when I was buying figures solely for display.

My oldest figure is Legends 1 Stone Cold. That's the first figure I ever bought. I didn't have money to start collecting so I gave it to a family member. Years later I took it back since they had it thrown in an old toy box. Now I cherish every day by keeping it in my bag, and take it with me to work.
The figures that got me collecting was Elite 25 Sheamus and Elite 26 Mark Henry. I saw them both together at Kmart and couldn't help how good they looked and the accessories they had.
The build up first started when I saw Elite Wrestlemania Bret and Shawn weeks before. I then saw Mark and Sheamus and thought how great this line of figures are.
Thank you Matteldesignteam

1985, 2 years old mom got me Hillbilly Jim, Roddy Piper, and Hulk Hogan. She just kept it going from there. Always had wrestling figures with me wherever I went.

I purchased Hasbros, BCAs and Toybiz WCW here and there, but I didnt consider myself a collector until I bought a RA1 John Cena. I was hooked and my collection still consists mostly of Jakks RA/CS to this day.

i guess you could say ive been collecting since i was born. my brother had remcos and ljn so they have always been in my house. the very first figure i remember ever buying on my own was a hasbro demoltion ax figure. the oldest figure in my collection at the moment are some series 1 ljn figures. Same here. My mom has pics of me playing with awa figures in the remco ring while I was still in a walker. Some of my earliest memories are of me in toys r us... I specifically remember buying ljns of terry funk, Rick Martel and the white shirt hogan all at different times. I also vividly remember going to buy another ljn ring after receiving money for my 5th birthday, and being really upset that hasbro took over the line. It still didn't stop me from buying Ted dibiase and Jake Roberts that day. I picked those two because they didn't have hogan, and those were the only ones to come with accessories.

I started collecting when the Hasbro line first came out - 1989, I guess? My first wrestling figure was Hasbro Jake Roberts, but I guess my oldest would be my LJNs.
