Speaking of Nigel. I wish WWE would pick him up for either an on-air character, or a trainer down in NXT.

Has always been overrated, and it annoyed me that he pinched - and then did a crappy job of doing McGuinness' rebound lariat. I remember after he won the title, people on here were saying he was this generation's Austin. I did laugh.

No one will be this era's Austin because people didn't turn on Austin unlike now when fans support a wrestler until someone else comes along and then they dump that wrestler and then jump on the new guys bandwagon.

Ambrose has been giving the spotlight and he has done jack with it..
Ambrose has no one to blame but Ambrose..
And as far as the podcast goes? Ambrose didn't like the questions Austin asked? Then tell him flat out, I will not be talking about my past.. Snap back, show some spine..
Him not answering the questions didn't sour me on him, the way let Austin come after him over and over and over again is what soured me... Stand up for yourself.. You're not an up and coming mid carder.. You're the WWE World Champion.

After Wrestlemania you could hear Dean was getting a smaller reaction by the week. He's still over though.

Welp, I guess Wfigs has turned on Ambrose now too. Surprise surprise. There are several people (myself included) saying that they are still Ambrose fans. So ya shouldn't lump everyone together like that.

Anyone talking about Ambrose phoning it in or not putting in any effort are criticising his performance, not his booking. What's wrong with his performances? The only "meh" performance he had was with Dolph. He had good matches with Seth and a terrific triple threat match at battleground, then an awesome match with AJ. Nothing has changed about the guy. The only thing that's changed is AJ is in the equation and Cena just came back. People are swiftly turning their backs on him. So you can't really say his performances have gone down because he wrestles exactly the same. The only thing that's changed is people's perception and the awful way he's been booked after moving to smackdown. Some of the people on here I've seen begging for an Ambrose push are the same people bashing him.

Well, to people who are saying those things, the problem with his performances seems to be that he's phoning it in and not putting in much effort. I wouldn't worry about that too much. That's just the wrestling Internet. When "evil stupid Vince" gives you "the push" you lose about 100000000 internet points. That's just the nature of being a top babyface in the era of anti-fans. Happened to Cena, happened to Reigns, even started to happen to Bryan before his B+ body gave out, now it's happening to Ambrose. It'll likely happen to Rollins once he's a babyface champion as well.

No one's gonna change me from being an Ambrose fan and I'm damn proud I'm not jumping from fad to fad.

Gosh, you Dean Ambrose fans are quite pretentious aren't you? He can't be the Steve Austin of today because fans turn on you when the next best thing comes along? Seriously?! Maybe he can't be the Steve Austin of today because he really isn't buying into his own gimmick. Austin was once in a lifetime because he was allowed to be who he really was and went against authority, which was perfect timing for the whole anti-hero movement that occured in the mid-to-late 90s.
Ambrose is supposed to be a lunatic fridge (what the hell is a lunatic fringe?) yet his moveset is conventional, stupid in some cases (like his rebound lariat), and he's predictable. Yes he's booked horribly - isn't everyone? But he really didn't grow a pair of balls with this gimmick either. What's with the cutsie jokes on the mic? What's with the stupid smirks on his face? He appears to be better suited to a lone wolf gimmick, drunk and deshevelled. That's why he'd make an amazing heel.
I'm ambivelant when it comes to Steve Austin, but I can't deny the power he had back in the day. Maybe there's some truth to what he's saying about Ambrose huh? Maybe taxi cab driver Sammy Zane impresses you too and he's being turned on as well? Please.
I wasn't a Kevin Owens fan at all, but he won me over with solid ring work, solid mic skills, and he's owned his old-school heel gimmick. Sorry, I do admire some of you Ambrose fans and the posts you contribute around here, but you guys are as "off" with this guy as Vince is with making Roman the second coming of Cena.
