You just can't compare a Sid figure with a vest for $20 as opposed to a D-Lo figure with a chest protector and IC title for $20. D-Lo would obviously sell better if he had those accessories. I like D-Lo but he is going to sell the same no matter how many accessories he is given. What people have to accept is outside of the collector community, Flashbacks aren't in high demand no matter the era. The current era is still the bread & butter for sales. This is a great point that most people wouldn't admit is true. The flashback are usually the easiest to find. By far. Basic or elite.

I love Flashbacks and hope WWE & Mattel continue making them in the large numbers like they are but outside of the initial rush by us, they sit on the shelves. I had to track down Doink when he first came out. Went to a number of stores before I found one. Right now, I can go to the Walmart near my home and get 5 of him if I want. Same for JYD, Sid, Godfather, and Bulldog. I can get Iron Sheik's basic in any store or off the Bay for cheap. Bushwackers for half of going market price on eBay. With that said, I welcome more Flashbacks because I love old school wrestlers as well as the current ones.

Sid was 2 per case and had a lousy facial expression and only a plain vest. Tito was part of a 4 figure set that was to be on shelves for 6+ months and exclusive to only one store. Jyd was in a set commonly said to have been over-produced. Should've been .5 per case.
D'Lo Brown with a belt and the chest protector at 1 per case would sell better than those. You better recognize

You better recognize I recognize that he'll do the same. Because we seem to forget that most stores stock more than 1 case on shelves and that's before the revision cases even hit the stores. Doink was short packed and he became plentiful once they restocked his series. Same for X Pac. Even the New Age Outlaws elites got easy to find before they got cycled out. I get it. People like D-Lo but thinking he's going to break the Flashback cycle? Naw, bruh.

At retail we are on Elite 43
I could go today between I'd say 5 different stores and find the following
E33 X Pac E33 JYD E34 Doink E35 Earthquake E36 DDP E37 Dean Malenko E38 Farooq E38 Bradshaw E39 Godfather E39 Sid E39 Bulldog E40 Rude E40 Umaga E40 IRS E41 Funk E41 Lita E41 123 Kid E42 Sags E42 Knobbs
Not to mention DM Razor, DM Taker, DM Warrior, HOF Tito
So out of 10 + series you have maybe a handful that are a little tough to come buy in stores
E38 Macho Man HOF 2 Yokozuna HOF 3 and Heenan 4 pack DM Sting DM Stone Cold
Out of that same run you know who is tough to come by (at retail) or very little shot at finding
E33 Seth E33 Roman E34 Paige E37 Cena E37 Seth E37 Brock E38 Roman E39 Sting E39 Dolph E40 Sami E41 Finn (not counting Big Lots)
While I would but D Lo to go with the Nation, I have a strong feeling he would be just like everyone else at the top of this list (most of those are cool ass figures too, they just don't sell worth a crap)
